Have you ever ordered tickets this way instead of having them sent to your house? It's cheaper in terms of shipping and it would be one less thing for me to worry about forgeting!

I was wondering if it delays you when you get there and if it works okay if you wait to do it only a day or two before leaving for Universal Orlando?

thanks!

I am nervous about this too. I want to do it this time for our trip, but I like the security of having them with me. Has anyone ever had problems? I would think you would get some sort of confirmation sheet, so even if you did have a problem with the machines, you could bring the confirmation to an actual person. Is that true?

I did it last year for HHN and I was over and done with it in a minute. All you need is your confirmation number and the credit card you charged the ticket to for confirmation (you're not going to be charged again).

It's really easy to purchase and pick up tickets this way. We walked right up to the machine on a busy August Saturday when the regular ticket lines were incredibly long. All we had to do was punch in our confirmation number then swipe the credit card used when ordering and out popped the tickets! Go for it. Just be sure you bring that credit card with you when you pick up the tickets.

I've also done it. No lines at the machines. You enter your confirmation number, swipe the credit card, and the tickets drop to the bottom. Real easy, go ahead and do it.

But two things-if you are going to pick up your tickets the day you are going to the park be there early. The line can get long. If you can, pick it up on the day of arrival if you are staying on site in the afternoon. I did this because we were not going to the park until the following day and literally finished within a minute. Also, make sure you REMEMBER to take the credit card you used to make the order. There was a man behind me that forgot his credit card at home and had to go to guest services (wasted time) for help.

..and, in case anyone still has reservations about the will call machines;

I accidentally transposed some numbers while writing down my confirmation code. A visit to the good 'ole human powered will-call window revealed that error quickly and the machine then worked flawlessly. It took less than 5 minutes, even though I screwed up.

We used this and it worked perfectly. I printed out the confirmation sheet and took it with me - that way I knew I had what I needed. We had our tickets in a less than minute.
