C'est la vie Mickey's Toontown Fair

Such is life, the "temporary-permanent" land closes for good at COB today. I am just wondering if they will alter the "Welcome" show when they say "Mickey and the Gang are coming from Toontown." I do have to say that I am going to miss the hidden path from Tomorrowland. That has always been our "get-away" from the crowds.

I'll miss the train station the most I think.

While I made sure to tour Mickey's Toontown Fair on every visit, it stopped becoming a "must-do" years ago.

I'm also happy to note that a much, much better version still exists at Disneyland.

My son loves Toon Town. We haven't had the heart to tell him it will not be there in June when we visit.

Sorry to see it go, but life goes on.....when we were there in December I told my daughter to get all the pictures she wanted, as it wouldn't be there the next time we visited.

Me too! My DS's(5&3) love Toon Town. We're going back in 20 days and we've been asking them what they want to see/do. Mickey and Minnie's house, Donald's boat and the Barnstormer are all at the top of the list. So we haven't told them yet and hopefully it slips their minds....

Me too. I love that walkway. We use it all the time and usually were about the only ones back there. I'm really going to miss it.

I wonder where the new Alice & Mad Hatter Treat Trail will be this year for the MNSSHP since the walkway from Tomorrowland will be closed due to the Fantasyland expansion.
