Ok, so we're going to DL this weekend and we'll have a free day to go sight-seeing. Does anyone have suggestions as far as what the most beautiful beach is in Central and Southern California? 
I now the West Coast is very different from the East Coast, but still would like to find a nice , clean, sandy beach. It can be small, large, half moon shaped, "straight" shaped, deep or shallow water (though being able to wade around in the water would be a plus), whatever, as long as it's clean, not so crowded, and easy to get too (no cliffs!

We'll be driving between SF and L.A. so anything below Anaheim is out, as is anything in the SF Bay Area
(Lived there before so we are all set in that regard).
