Centerpiece Idea Thread

Hi girls! I thought it would be fun to post pictures of centerpieces here. You can post pictures out of magazines, from online, or from your own wedding. Anything goes, post away!

Okay! I've posted my centerpiece before...but I'll contribute! Promise not to be bored by them.
These were our flower centerpieces that were in long, shallow wooden bowls that I bought at Crate & Barrel. I just gave the bowls to my florist, and she created the flowers.

This is what our tables looked like. I don't have a really good picture of our candles when they were lit. We bought wooden mexican sugar molds off of ebay and put bees wax candles in them. The result was a long row of candle light that looked a bit like candles in a church.

We covered our tables with kraft paper that I bought online at a restaurant supply company. We also provided colored pencils for our guests to write or draw messages to us.

I LOVE those carriages.. I was looking for something similar to that when I was getting ready for my at-home-reception but never did find anything. Those are so neat.

What a cute idea for a thread! I love everyone's centerpieces. I'll post mine in 3 weeks when I see them. My mom is making mine She's an art teacher so I am very excited to see what they look like.

We had a small, intimate reception dinner at Citrico's, in the Chef's Domain. It was absolutely beautiful....

I wish I had my camera with me last night, because I went to this dinner for work... and I loved the centerpieces they had, they were simple, but very beautiful and elegant.

In a short, glass, square vase, they had 12 red roses with the stems cut short so that just the actual flower was sticking out of the vase, and grey stones at the bottom of the glass. In the direct center of the rose arrangement, they had what appeared to be twigs or something coming out and sticking just a bit higher than the roses. the vase was sitting on top of this round bottom of some sort that had tiny circles where light shone up through through the glass to illuminate the centerpiece... it was really pretty. sorry people, that's my best description without a photo ha ha...

for my wedding, I was set on calla lilies but lately I keep seeing breathtaking pics of rose bouqets, centerpieces, etc. that just elicit such a feeling of romance... so yeah, decisions, decisions!!!
