With St. Patrick's Day next week it's the perfect time to listen to some Irish music. One group that I really love is Celtic Woman and how I started liking this wonderful Celtic group was I had seen their album commercial on TV and they sounded fabulous and so I bought Celtic Woman's debut album and was swept away by their amazing sound and they even did their concert special on PBS which I also have the DVD of as well and it too brings out Celtic Woman's wonderful voices. I also have their Christmas album and another album which comes with Irish jewelry too

Here's an interesting fact on Celtic Woman. One of Celtic Woman actually performs the music of the Tinker Bell movie series and also performs on the Tinker Bell soundtrack too. Mom fell in love with Celtic Woman too the minute I got their album and was enchanted by their sound and Mom even got to see the Celtic Woman PBS special with me and liked it too

I never knew how famous Celtic Woman would become just from their TV special alone but they have turned themselves into Ireland's top group and they seem to have a full discography of Christmas live albums and much more. One of the other singers of Celtic Woman Hayley Westenra also performed on Disney's Mulan II and she was a marvelous addition to Celtic Woman. I wonder why Hayley left the group?

I think that when Celtic Woman first debuted they made celtic music become very popular because due to Celtic Woman's popularity we started seeing celtic bands becoming popular with Celtic Thunder and singers like Loreena McKennitt and Enya. But how Celtic Woman manages to put on amazing concerts i'll never figure out the answer. But you will be swept away by their beautiful voices
