Cell provider help please

My mom wants to get the iPhone4. She has no contract with Verizon right now. Has anyone figured out which carrier is the cheapest per month? All of them have the iphone4 for $99. Thanks foe your input!

Keep in mind the cheapest isn't always the best. Service area can vary greatly. I also wouldn't depend on the maps put out by the carriers either. Ask neighbors, coworkers, anyone who is in your mom's area.

Keep in mind too that you need to compare data plans as the Iphone is data intensive. I believe that Sprint is the only company left with unlimited data. I use Verizon (my company pays for it) and like the service.
