Well my birthday is in 15 days, so I'm hoping i get that cell phone that I saw at the mall.

i got my cell phone last christmas and i was fifteen. but the only reason why i got my cell phone was because im now in high school and im in colorguard at my high school and colorguard takes over your life and my parents needed a way to keep in contact with me.

I have had a cell phone for almost 8 years (I'm 20 If you didn't know). I bought the phone with my own money, and my parents paid the bill untill I got my job when I turned 15. I had it becuase of my crazy sports schedual of soccer, track, swimming, wrestling, football, and baseball. Now 8 years later, and about 9 different phones my life is less hectic but still in the need for a cell.

i got one in 6th grade, so hmmi guess i was 12 when i got thee ol Nextel i1000 hahahaha the first nextel flip phone, ive come quite far though now being a month away from being 18 and am now on my 4th cell, so hmm i guess starting MS sounds like the perfect time to hook urself up with a cell

Well i think that ppl should get a cell phoe when begining high school, or in there 9th year of school. In high school u have a lot more things to stay after school for.

Why must people get a cell phones when they have a home phone and their parents have a cell phone that they could borrow?

Because I'm not always at home or with my parents. Everyone in my house except my dad has a cell phone and sometimes is my mom who I need to call. I am frequently out of town for days to a week or so at a time, and it becomes my only way of talking to people who aren't there with me. This summer I was out of town for a least a month if not a month and a half (not at once, but collectivily)

My parents told me yesterday the reason i got one was because i got good grades all year, i'm responsible, and this year i'll have a lot of stuff going on. But one of the rules was no calling boys after 10:00, i was like darnnn lol.

I don't mean like that, like that's what people SHOULD be using cell phone for.
I'm talking about the kids in my school that have cell phones for no reason and thinks it's 'cool' to have a cell phone so they ask their parents for one and their parents give it to them, and they go around the school braggin' that they have a cell phone.
