Cell Phone plan for a "large" family

Anyone else have a problem with your kiddos being at so and so's house, but so and so's family does not answer their phone...ever? This was the biggest reason for getting our DD a phone.

YES! My DD's BFF lives fairly close by, but they NEVER answer their phone. I send DS over with messages if he's home. Half the time I'll call the mom's cell phone, and she won't answer that either. Why have a home phone if you refuse to use it????

Do you think my sister could put my dd on her Verizon plan? She thought she could give this to my dd for her birthday and then Christmas gift.

I added my nephew to my plan and he lives in diff state. I even had his phone set up with a local to him number.
