Does anyone know where the best places to recharge your phone in the parks are? I will be using my phone to take pics and use the lines app andi know those will drain my batteries. I have a motorola DROIDX. Thanks for tips!

There aren't any designated cell phone charging areas in the parks. Keep an eye open as you wander around though and you may spot an unused outlet.

I would think there would be outlets in the baby room.
cuz I would highly think there would be outlets for microwaving bottles.

I think i will look into the portable recharger. Sounds like the best bet

That sounds like a great idea...never thought of that one...I'll look into the solar charger! Thanks

I read that a couple of the lockers have outlets in them, or that you can leave your phone and charger with guest services to charge. Someones blog had a whole listing of outlets in the parks, but I read it a few months ago and have no idea whose it was, sorry.

My dh bought an external charger made ny Zagg that can charge 2 devices at once via USB. It cost $50 but it is well worth the money. It is about 4 or 5 inches square and you just plug it into an outlet to charge it up at night.

There are outlets in the Columbia Harbor House in the Magic Kingdom located in front of Mansion

What about a solar charger?

That sounds like a great idea...never thought of that one...I'll look into the solar charger! Thanks

Never heard of a solar charger for a phone. Is this something new on the market?

A solar charger will charge your phone very slowly unless you want to strap say a 1 foot square solar cell on your head.

Most use the solar panel to change an internal battery and then you use that to charge the phone. Since you have access to an outlet overnight its just easier to get a normal external charger and just recharge it overnight.

You can leave your phone and charger with guest services and they will charge it for you. We have done this before and it worked great! :thumbsup2
