Just wondering if anyone is planning on going to Vegas to see Celine Dions new show "A New Day"? She was on Oprah today and it looks like a great show- but tickets are anywhere from $83.00-200.00! Pretty steep!

If I was going to Vegas anytime soon, I would definitely go to the show! Hopefully, sometime in the next three years we'll be able to get there and see it.

Looks like an ambitious day today for Celine, an new show, a new CD, an new perfume, all today. I think she is a great singer, one of the best. Her new LV show looks like a spectacular. We saw her new venue under construction when we were there 15 months ago. I think we having a wedding there in Oct and would love to see her.

Ditto! Yuck! She drives me crazy.

Oh I think Celine is okay....but I wouldn't pay more than $25 to see her! I think the cost of tickets is getting so outrageous. Wow! $200 for a concert ticket!

I found an old concert ticket stub in my drawer from when my Mom took me to see Bobby Sherman (I'm really dating myself) at the Westbury Music Fair on Long Island, & the cost of the ticket was $4 & parking was 25 cents! Now that's more like it!! LOL!! :teeth:

I never had any desire to go to Las Vegas, now I want to go! I would love to see her! Maybe we'll make it out there for a long weekend sometime.

Mishetta -- my first Eric Clapton ticket cost $6.50 + $.50 cents handling fee. That was for third level seat, but you could stand on the floor too. My last Eric Clapton ticket, for nose bleed seats (I could make him out on the stage, but I couldn't tell you if it was Eric Clapton or Eric from The Little Mermaid, except for that beautiful voice and guitar), cost $45.00 plus a $3.00 handling fee. :p That was like 4 or 5 years ago! They're probaly $60.00 now. :p
