Hi everyone!
I posted this in a vegan thread, but would love input from anyone who might be able to help. I didn't want to post this in the DISabilities thread as I thought I might get more input here.
I am going to Disney for the first time since 1992, but obviously back then things were a lot different!
To give you some background, I have celiac disease (and am a very sensitive celiac). I also have a dairy allergy, which is "fine" because I am a vegan. But for that, I really have to watch cross-contamination.
I'm traveling with my mom. She is not a vegan, but has restrictions also... She can't have gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, legumes (including all legumes and peanuts) and yeast. However, the gluten, dairy, and soy are the biggest for her.
I made my reservations months ago (right on the day), and am wondering if anyone has any feedback! I would really, really appreciate as I'm not adverse to changing anything (yesterday, actually, I switched to Jiko for one of the meals).
We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. I am doing the Princess Half Marathon on the Sunday, so that is why we don't have a reservation that night... I'm not sure what the day will bring. I never, ever eat out so this is a "big step" for me.
My favourite meal of the day is breakfast/brunch so that is why there is a brunch the day after the race - celebration! But again, I can always move that to the Sunday if it is available. I have no idea!
Day 1 - Boatwright's Dinner
Day 2 - Jiko Dinner
Day 3 - no reservation
Day 4 - Boma brunch
Day 5 - California Grill Dinner
Day 6 - 50's Prime Time Lunch
Day 7 - Sanaa Dinner
Day 8 - 1900 Park Fare Dinner
Day 9 - Kouzzina Dinner
Day 10 - Boma Dinner
Day 11 - Tusker House Dinner
Any insight (are these good? bad? should I change something? what to note? what to order?) would be SO appreciated!
