Hi everyone,
Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to read my lengthy post and responds! I was diagnosed with Celiac one month ago after years of feeling like maybe I was just a hypochondriac! I had already made all my ADR's when I found out, so I did call disney dining and alert the cast member of my diagnosis. So far, I cancelled our reservation at Via Napoli due to some information I found while researching. I'm very much looking forward to our trip in November with my husband and two girls--ages 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 because it is their first time and our first time at Food and Wine!
I'm hoping for help in deciding if: 1) I should modify any other reservations.
2) Is there any other information I should carry with me while on our trip in November, 3) do I need to contact special diets or was noting the dietary restriction on the ADR enough? 4) has anyone with celiac eaten at the kiosks in the food and wine festival as I was hoping to do this for dinner one night.
My ADR's
1. Turf Club Bar and Grill at Saratoga
2. CRT for breakfast (I'd rather not eat a Van's frozen waffle as I can get these at home so I'm hoping there are other options)
3. Tusker House (breakfast)
4. Be Our Guest
5. Rose and Crown or Teppan Edo??? Can't decide which since I cancelled Via Napoli
6. Kouzzina
7. Blue Zoo
8. Hollywood and Vine Character Breakfast
Quick Service: I plan on going to Flame Tree because I've read great gluten free reviews but I thought BBQ sauce wasn't gluten free. I am going to Wolfgang Puck express also. Any other excellent quick service meals with a variety of options???
Thanks so much! Any info would be helpful as I'm researching as much as I can!
