Anyone have any cool stories of celebrity encounters while doing the CP?

I met Jessie Ventura the the Palm golf course. He was an incredibly interesting guy to talk to. He is so down to earth. I'd vote for him in a second.

I also saw hulk hogan at PI. He was drunk as hell haha:rotfl:

I seem to see a lot of athletes down in FL. I saw a former Texas quarterback backstage on Main Street (I can't remember his name, but I know his first name was Steve). I saw Jorge Posada from the Yankees and Rasheed Wallace while working in Toontown. My favorite one? I got to sit next to Joey Fatone and his family during the 3pm parade down on Main Street. He is a really nice guy, and his daughter was adorable.

Since I'm a wrestling fan seeing Hogan would be great!!! I'll be down there for WrestleMania so hopefully I'll get to meet some wrestlers I haven't met before!!! How far is the Citrus Bowl from DTD??Anyone know???

I got to have an in-character chat with Steve Tyler of Areosmith. It was quite interesting for me to be doing my usual bellhop duties and have Steve Tyler walk up and start talking to me. I also had a chance to load the band Blink 182 into the elevators to their "rooms." There were also quite a few people who would stop by Tower to ride and I had no idea who they were.

On my second program i worked at Test Track where i saw my good share of famous people coming in and out. Within 20 minutes of each other Uma Therman and Celine Dion were on the ride, that was crazy. During ESPN weekend there were a bunch of pro football players that came on. Also saw Drew Lachey, Joey Fatone, The Cheetah Girls, Corbin Bleu and some others that i forget. It was really crazy.
My first College program i did Merch at MGM. I was working at Sid Cahunegas (the place with all the movie memoribilia) and Neil Patrick Harris came in and bought some stuff.

SO seeing famous will really depend on where you work too. Working at an attraction clearly increases your chances of seeing one.

Working at Fantasmic i saw a bunch of celebs... Dave Robinson, Karl Malone, Stuart Scott, Tory Holt, Jason Mraz, Gearge Lucas, Steve Young are just a few that I can remember off the top of my head

Steven Tyler AND Blink 182?!?! :scared1: OMG! I would have giggled like a stupid kid and forgotten the English language, I am almost certain!!

I was just glad I stayed in Character. I think that was the only thing that saved me. If only people could read what was going through my head it would have just be "Ohmigod, Ohmigod, Ohmigod....."

Haha. A friend of mine is best friends with Neil. I met him this summer after a show and he was so funny. Crazy guy!

It's a lot easier to see celebs when you work at a popular attraction...I however worked at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. However I did meet Tony Dungy, Phill Lewis (Mr. Moseby), and Corbin Bleu. They all came through my attraction. Also we had ESPN the weekend near us. So I spotted a bunch of pro athletes that I can not even begin to name. Also I met Lou Mongello and talked to him for a good 10 minutes. Some might not Know who he is but I'm sure quite of few of the people on the DISBoards are fans of his work...I know I am.

I would think even a childrens' attraction would bring some celeb parents with their kids. Anyone work in Toontown and see someone? Or how about the character meals?

Not on a ride in Toontown, but I did see celebs inside the HOF tent.

omg i've seen my fair share. Joey Fatone, Kyle Massey (the nicest guy I have ever met! he's a real sweetheart), Aly & AJ, Dominic Rains and about 4 other soap stars I didn't know, monique coleman, one of the runnerups on american idol (something Dolittle maybe?).

but my favorite...i was checking harnesses and looked down and there was Celine Dion! That was crazy because I almost didn't recognize her.

One of my friends who knew someone working at Animal Kingdom one year got to meet Andy Hurley, Joe Trohman, and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy when they rode EE. I think she got to ride the ride too with them (like in the same car).

I meet Blue October :yay: after they got done at Hosue of Blues. I said hi. They were trying to get back to there tour bus with out getting traped by there fans. (Thats what they said.)
