Has the death of a celebrity ever really affected you? Who was the celeb?

Steve Irwin really hit me hard.

I seriously almost went to my room locked the door and cried when Steve Irwin died. I loved him, he was great. Before he died I'd scream really loud when his show came on animal planet because I was excited. Either because it was a new episode or whatnot. I loved it. It was really sad when he died.

Rosa Parks...wasn't exactly a "celebrity". But I was really sad when I heard she had died. She was such an influence.

If I think of any more I'll post later.

Steve Irwin.
I've never felt as bad with any celeb, than Steve Irwin.
Sure, some celebrity deaths made me sad...
But, not as sad as Steve Irwin :[[

Steve Irwin.
I was always watching his shows and it's just unreal that he's really gone.

John Ritter.
I loved 8 simple rules and I was shocked that he was gone so young.

Johnny Cash.
His death kinda hit me hard too because I liked some of his songs.

Princess Diana.
after the fact

Steve Irwin 900%. Oh my gosh when he died I cried a lot. He was my hero! His show was what I watched with my dad when I was young. He was the best. Rip Steve <3

Steve Irwin and John Ritter left a major impact on me. Also Christopher Reeve.

Kinda similar story, but different too...my friend Nicole, her dad was a very famous news reporter here in New York. My dad's a pretty famous news reporter here too, but this guy (David Bloom) was even bigger. Anways, he was reporting from Iraq about 4 years ago, and he got some sort of anurism (sp?) in his leg from crouching for weeks. He ended up passing away. I know the topic of your thread was celebrity deaths, but hey, here in NY David was one. I just remember I cried for days, and it was so difficult to see Nicole that first time, just weeks later. They had his memorial service at our theatre company, where I know her from. So yeah. That was a real toughie :sad2:

Steve Irwin, I was in Disney when I found out. We watched the Memorial and I was pretty upset.

Steve Irwin, just because he was so amazing. He was so into what he did and he was such an activist that I couldn't help admire him.

Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit hit me hard because these were two guys that were in peak physical condition, they had great families and they were loved by anybody that knew them and they both died really suddenly.

Yea Christopher Reeve and John Ritter for sure.
Also Richard Harris. I was really sad. He made a great Dumbledore. :[

Irwin.
Reeve.
Joel Siegel. ABC movie critic. He was really good decided what i see in the movies.
