Celebrity Apprentice

Aubrey is a nasty little girl, very immature and bratty.

I was pleasantly surprised at Clay being so outwardly supportive of Lou.

I also think Arsenio is looking more and more like a player that goes all the way to the finals.

*** Keep in mind that I am only 30 minutes into tonight's episode so if any of my above statements end up being totally contradicted later in the episode then please ignore***

I have always loved Arsenio Hall, since watching his show. He is smart, savvy, he broke the mold at a time when there were no such thing as black male talk show hosts - especially going up against Johnny Carson. He was a great role model to younger kids & teens, telling them to keep their nose clean - meaning no cocaine or drugs.

I remember an interview with him years late, when he explained what it was like having so much power during his talk show, then how no one would take his calls, when his show was canceled. He said he thought he had lots of friends. It was then that he realized, no, he had power. And when the power was gone, so were the "friends." That really shaped him. He learned a big & ugly lesson about Hollywood. About the duplicity & back-stabbing. Smiling when someone has power or can do something for you, then dropping them when they have nothing to offer.

I notice he tries to treat his fellow team members with the utmost respect. Even when he says negative thought about them in the CA interviews, it's not back-stabby or immature like Aubrey. It's as an observation. He is a very thoughtful man. :thumbsup2

Can we vote Aubrey out of the suite? And can she please take her 'creative' clique with her?

According to the IMdB.com, Tia Carrere is 45. Aubrey acted like a nasty 14 year old. :p

Who won? Who got fired? Was at the hospital with my dad and couldn't watch the show.

What did Aubrey say to Tia in theboardroom? I missed it. Something about her age?
I think Tia just has too much class and just wanted to go.

Where o where to begin- she went on so much about Tia...

There was the comment about how Tia doesn't look her in the eye and therefore she is weak or not a good business person because of it.

That Tia didn't take her idea (about the camera angles) even though when Aubrey had Lisa ask for the same exact thing, Tia then loved the idea and of course Lisa confirmed this to Trump.

She also said that Tia is constantly talking about how much experience she has in marketing or task oriented stuff but it isn't actually the case even though she's in her FIFTIES!!

To the poster who wanted to know "what happened":
The men won. The O'Cefmdar executives thought their video was more a cross between a typical commercial and a viral video, rather than just the latter, but they focused on the mop - something the women forgot.
Some of the men, notably Clay, feel Penn is condescending when he thinks an idea is bad. If the men lost, Lou (project manager) said he'd bring Penn and Paul into the boardroom; Penn for the above reasons, and Paul because he really didn't contribute anything. Except, duh ;), the theme of the video.

The women fought a LOT. The self-proclaimed 'creative clique' - Lisa, Aubrey, Debbie to a lesser degree - attacked project manager Tia, and Diana relentlessly. They were really nasty. Really mean. When Trump asked Tia who she'd bring back to the boardroom, she confirmed that he wouldn't pull a Carolla on her and offered herself up for sacrifice, as it were.

I don't know this threads policy on spoilers; there's text above this using a white font ;).

Is everything OK with your Dad? I hope so.

The guys team won, Lou was the PM and it was nice to see him win.
Clay and Penn had an issue about Penn being condescending that still needs to be resolved.

Tia was the PM for the ladies and several of them threw her under the bus, she asked Trump if she fell on the sword if he would fire her and someone else (like last week with Adam and Michael) and he said no, so she gladly was fired.

Then she said at 27, she has 3 times the experience and smarts than Tia at 50.

Tia didn't want to pick 2 people to bring into the Boardroom. She asked Trump whether he'd fire a second person, like he did last week when Adam Corola wouldn't pick 2 people.

Trump said no. So, Tia said then she is totally taking responsibility or the failure of her team. Trump fired her.

In the limo ride, Tia said she basically didn't want to get all back-stabby and tear any of the other women down. She said she was glad to be leaving when she was, rather than go that route.

In the lounge with the men upstairs, they actually didn't think she she might have been the one fired, had she not thrown herself under the bus.

Trump had asked 3 times,"Who is the weakest member?" He was no longer going just by their merits on the particular task." Two people picked Dayana. She actually wasn't given very much to do this task.

Aubrey set her guns right on Tia, and the motormouth wouldn't shut up about Tia. But, I don't think Trump was convinced.

What the heck was that necklace Aubrey was wearing? It looked like a bunch of nuts (without the bolts,) all strung together. :p

Just joining in on this thread, but I agree that Tia was just tired of the cattiness (sp?). I do think that Tia was one of the weaker players, but Aubrey gets on my nerves. She may have had a point about whether Tia was listening to her, but she shouldn't have brought up age. That was just immature. Diana, Patricia, and Teresa are weak players, though. They will have to pull something off to beat the more dominant "click" of Debbie, Aubrey, and Lisa. We'll see what happens next week, but I doubt the women's team is going to have any less drama.

As for the men, I think Clay was right about what he said to Penn. I do think Penn is a smart, strong player, but he was not being helpful in the task, and he seemed to shoot down ideas more than provide positive feedback. Glad their team won. I'm tired of the women trying to use the presentation portion of the task to make up for the half-hearted attempt at the actual task. Good for Lou this time around. We'll see if he can keep the momentum going in his favor.

Did anybody else pick up on the difference in the way the same idea was presented? Aubrey demanded. Lisa asked, "Do you think...".

I hope your dad is okay.
Thank you everyone.

My dad fell and broke his arm 2 weeks ago and has had lots of complications since. His blood pressure dropped really low and he had to go to ER by ambulance. He has blood clots in his heart and lungs, and had a stroke. The hospital he is in is 1 1/2 hr drive from my home so we spend 5-6 hrs seeing him and 3 hrs travel time everyday. Right now he is doing better and they moved him from critical care to a regular room. But with blood clots and at 90 yrs old you never know. He is too old for them to use the aggressive clot buster drug. He is on blood thinners.
He is very blessed to be 90 yrs old and to have had great health until now.

I thought it was so funny when the ladies were explaining to Trump the tagline idea for their video, "what is your number?" and Trump said that he never thinks about sex. Lol

I didn't turn it on until after AR. I started watching just before they showed the video's. I thought the men's was very funny. I didn't "get" the womans. What's your number??? I had no idea they were talking about sex until the boardroom. I though maybe they were talking about how many mops they used, or maybe how many different uses they had for the thing. I really had no idea.

I really wish that woman with the big bossy mouth would go home. I don't remember her name. She is NASTY.

Aubrey is big mouthed BRAT! She said Tia would make a good PM because she is 100 years old like O'Cedar. And then the boardroom comments on being in her 50's...oh no she dihinnit!! :sad2: And I think she likes to pick on Diana beacuse she is threatened by her beauty.

I know we don't see everything, but what did Theresa do?

Talk about someone flying under the radar. Her time has to be ending because it seems she does very little. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

there was supposed to be a follow up segment on the news about whoever was fired last night, so obviously Tia...did anyone see it? (Chicago area)Our's showed a home of some sort when sayingsomething about "current news or* latest on* the Celebrity who is fired tonight" as a highlight on the upcoming newscast, but then I was getting ready for bed and missed it.

I also don't think Tia would have been fired.
as for Aubrey what a nasty thing she is. a couple weeks ago I liked her, I thought she was smart, but now my opinion of her has changed greatly to add in nasty, rude, arrogant and a big mouth. not fine qualities.

I would love to see her go.
did anyone see the promo for next week? looks like she sheds tears in the boardroom.

Thank you everyone.

:hug:Wow, SC, prayers for your Dad and God bless him and you!

Lisa Lampinelli is more tolerable than that little brat, Aubrey.

Theresa...:confused3 What did she do?

Diana was at least coming up with ideas. Theresa is trying NOT to be in the spotlight, and that's sneaky.

I love how the guys have Aubrey figured out. They knew she would talk about "herself" and even wished SHE would leave. She is so full of herself but it's bordered on a deep insecurity. I wasn't surprised when she said she was the kid that was picked on in school. Tia's dismissive attitude of her is something she cannot tolerate because she was probably ignored as a teen... by women who looked like Tia and Diana. She is showing her immaturity so blatantly with her non stop talking and her attitude.

I remember when I took the 'psychology of speech" in college. Her tone and pitch makes her thoughts invisible or not heard. Lisa knew how to present the same idea in a way it will be heard. Like the PP said, she respected the person she was speaking to instead of giving her the "you don't know like I know so I'm going to tell you" tone "little miss 15 mins of fame" vomited out.

I'm sure she'll be around for awhile, Trump loves this kind of *******, it equals ratings.

As for Lou...:dance3::worship: Love him!!! I dated a bodybuilder back in the day and he was just like him, dedicated and a gentle giant. He might not be the brightest bulb in the lamp but he worked so hard and did a great job.

Penn...HANDICAPPED...REALLY??? What an ***. He comes across so pompous, no wonder he wanted a mute partner.:rolleyes1
