Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars

YAY! Trump is giving all the people in the boardroom who didn't win money for their charity $20,000. That was always my peeve with this show, that EVERY charity should get SOME money even if their celeb didn't win a task. :cool1:

That is Fantastic! Trump giving Lil Jon's charity $100,000 for his charity, the American Diabetes Assoc., as runner up, and in honor of his mother.

Lots of people think having money is evil. But, here is a time where having it to give away, for the right cause and at the right time, and how it affected Lil Jon is PRICELESS. :worship:

Awww, I wanted to reach thru the screen and give little John a hug.

Trace for the WIN! :dance3: :cool1: :woohoo::yay:

Although, I would have been equally happy had Penn won. :hyper:

Me too  I thought that Lil John did very well on this show.

Ditto, except vice versa! LOL I wish Penn would've won, but Trace was representing a good charity, so I'm not sad about his win.

Penn was robbed

I agree; I think he played the best and should've won. I'm glad that his ice cream won!

I plan on seeing if I can order a scarf from Opportunity Village. :)

Clay was robbed last year and Penn should have won this year.

During the season, Trace just checked out for a few weeks. Penn never did. He was a star, consistently. Penn would make a more analytical and effective assistant to DT next year. But Trump is all about publicity and the American Red Cross (esp. after Hurricane Sandy) is about as high a profile charity as you can get. Opportunity Village? Not so much.

Penn sold more ice cream.....for good reason. And the fundraising was close. As for the commercials, Gary was so freaking annoying by the end of the season that just the sight of him dancing around like a demented imp left a bad taste in my mouth. I really didn't think either commercial was stellar.

Penn should have won, but Trump has his mind made up ahead of time. He always does.

No one was robbed. It was a win-win for everyone involved. Lots of money and awareness was raised for the charities, plus the celebrity contestants received a lot of face time. :cool1:

Ugh. The ending I expected, but not the one I wanted. Trace not only "checked out" for weeks on end after he was moved to Power but he also actively threw people under the bus so he could stay. Penn was always in the tasks 100% and did not undermine his team members to save himself. Even when Gary was certifiably insane. Passive-aggressive wins over open and honest. Nice.

BTW, did we ever find out which team Walgreen's liked better? Penn's ice cream won the fan vote and Trace earned a bit more money but what happened to the 3rd component of the task?

I don't understand how Penndidn't win? His commercial was better (it actually sold the product), his raised a ton of money, and had the winning ice cream flavor. I suppose we'll know why Trace won in about a month when Trump inevitably announces something connected with Trace. At least Trace was abhorrent.

I am happy, I wanted Trace to win.:)

Trace raised, almost $1.5 million. Enough said.
That's because he was project manager in the very first task which was a big money task. They both won a $40K task, but Trace earned over HALF of his non-bonus winnings the first week ($419K+$250K combined week 1) while Penn's other task was small potatoes ($20K). IIRC the project managers were selected on their overall finish from the previous show, so Trace started out with a ... say it with me ... HUGE *snicker* advantage. So, going into the final task Trace had earned $710K to Penn's $60K. If it was all about the money earned, Trace should have just be declared the winner from the first show .

He gave Lil John a big donation because he knew Lil John should have been there instead of Trace, but since he had some deal already inked with Trace he decided to donate big to Lil John.

I think I am done with this show. Needs to go back to the ordinary people who had to actually work to win and they had a huge personal interest in the game.

I found Brett Michael's absence interesting. Early on I noted that not only was he MIA, but he was never even mentioned. No "Brett sent his regards but couldn't make it because he is playing a show tonight"...nothing.

Then Dennis Rodman made some comment about him which nobody acknowledged.

It was clear from the beginning that Trump did not want Brett back as a contestant. But after he was fired, he did come back on one episode in the "eyes and ears" role, so I thought things were OK between them. Guess not.

Brett posted on Facebook that he couldn't attend due to his daughter's birthday as well as a previous committment.

I was rooting for Trace so I am happy with the outcome.

I couldn't help but think that maybe Tim Tebow shoulda kept that $200K.
