Celebrity Apprentice 3- No spoilers

What's with Melania? She never smiles. Did she not negotiate enough in the pre-nup? Lucklily, Barron looks like her. :thumbsup2

Brett saying he's sure his time to get his come up-pence is coming up was chilling. :scared:

I can barely watch it:sad1:

I just heard on the news that Bret is conscious, but still critical. His speech is slurred. That's about all they said.
I was so glad no one was fired last night! They all did awesome.

Realistically, Trump should have fired Sharon, but she has a free pass this season, so he couldn't bring himself to do it. Of course no one went home. If it came down to firing Sharon or Cyndi, Trump would have made it a non-elimination task. How transparant could this season be?

Holly is just a two-faced witch. "Mr. Trump, Sharon said she wanted to go home." Yeah, to get away from you!

Curtis is just amazing! Who'd have guessed he has such a fantastic business sense?

I thought it was a nice touch at the end that CBS and The Apprentice was wishing Brett well.

Well, true - on the other hand, it's an even greater indication that Trump wants Sharon in the final two ;). She could have had Bret call for donations as well as bodies. He's right, he DOES know a lot of people with money. The teams had no way of knowing Trump wasn't going to fire anyone.

Ya think? :thumbsup2 And I'm surprised she let her team do ANYTHING this time - she's so controlling! I couldn't believe when she demanded they come back to the office with 'the CD'? Discs come in single packs now? Their budget was so tight they only had one? Puh-leeze. Holly can't go too soon for me. And she can take Ditzy with her.

What's with Melania? She never smiles. Did she not negotiate enough in the pre-nup? Luckily, Barron looks like her. :thumbsup2

Brett saying he's sure his time to get his come up-pence will be coming soon was chilling. :scared: I hope he was only speaking in terms of the tasks on the show. :(

He also said he'd stay and fight until the end...I'm really hoping that's the case now, too. I'm hoping for the best for him - I've really grown to like him while watching this show. Rock of Love was always a joke...this has shown a slightly different side.

I used to know and work for Bret/Poison back in the '80s - I have some very fond memories of those days - and I have been thrilled with how well he has been doing on the show. I knew that when he did Rock of Love it wasn't something he really wanted to do in terms of gaining 'credibility.' He wanted the show to go in a slightly different direction than what it did, but it ended up being a ratings success so VH1 had to stick with that formula.

Anyway, I have been very proud of Bret on Celebrity Apprentice, as he has had a chance to show that he has more substance than what a lot of people gave him credit for. Those of us who knew him or know him are aware of what he is like as a person. His mind is always racing and he talks excitedly if he gets on a roll. He is also very funny, silly, loves to laugh and is willing to poke fun at himself, etc. He is not one of those stereotypical doped-up rock stars at all - which I think he wanted to prove on this show, and he has been doing that very well. It may very well be that Trump is keeping Bret and Cyndi on the show for ratings - I believe that may be the case - but Bret has been doing a good job. He is very proactive, that's for sure.

I am saddened by Bret's current health crisis, as he is a guy who is vibrant, energetic and full of life, and he loves living life. I have photos with Bret in my TR here (link below in signature) from the old days - some of them are from Disneyland; some are from other things. I have some photos on the first page and others are buried in the TR. Check them out if you are interested. In fact, Bret's autobiography - which had been delayed a few times - was supposed to come out early next year, and a couple of my photos from the old days were going to be in the book (I signed the photo release and everything). I am guessing the autobio release will be put on hold again until they figure out what's happening with his health. I am hoping he will make a full recovery from this situation, but the longer the bleed continues without being able to locate a source for it, it's not a good sign that that will happen.:sad1:

I didn't get to see but about the last 40 minutes so really can't comment much. From what I saw, Sharon's team really got along well. I was glad it was a non-elimination round but in the previews for next week, Trump said two could go. I think he has someone in mind, just has to get there.

I thought that what Hollie did was not right. Sharon said she wanted to go home because she was sick and I believe Hollie knew that. Just wanted to put doubt in Trump's mind. She is a competitive player and Sharon is one of, if not her biggest competitors.

Don't know if ya'll caught it but when it looked like Sharon was going home, Cyndi burst out "Now I won't have any more fun!" and just threw herself down on the table. :rotfl:

Next week it looks like Sharon and the chef (forgot his name) are at odds with each other.

Did she say she was sick, or just sick of her team and the arguing? I missed her saying she was actually ill.

Why does Trump even have competitions and advisors? It's clear to me that he decides who should leave no matter what others say. It has started to aggravate me big time.

I'm pulling for Sharon now. I can't stand Hollie and I believe that it's between those two.

I took it to mean that she was sick of her team and their arguing.

I guess I took it the other way, that she was very ill because Trump made reference to how sick she was when the subject came up.

That was in the board room. At the beginning of the episode, when the men came back without Goldberg, she was complaining that she was sick of the whining and fighting on her team and that she wanted to go home. When she spoke in the BR, it became wanting to leave because she was sick... not because she was sick of Holly, et al.

Or it could be down to Sharon & Brett. As the teams dwindle down, eventually they are all just up against each other.

When Curtiss was asked who on the other team should go, he said Brett should stay. But, Brett staying makes him strong competition. Everyone knows how hard working, inventive, imaginative and savvy Brett is.

What if it comes down to Sharon & Brett? The finale is always live. . .

I wonder how they will handle the finale if Bret made it that far? Hopefully he will be all right and things would go as usual but if he has a long period of rehab or something. I never knew who he was until the show started but he has done well. I would like to see him go further. Holly can go anytime and I won't miss her!

Well, if he's alive and recovering nicely, the finale is usually the two finalists just sitting & facing Trump while we see flashbacks of their final task.

But, if Brett ends up as one of the finalists but doesn't recover, I think Sharon, or anyone else, wouldn't want to win by default. That would just be awful. :sad1:

Bret is not recovering nicely at this point. The fact that the source of the brain bleed can't be found is not a good sign. This means it could be located in an area that is inoperable.

In any case, the finale is coming in May, and there is almost no way Bret will be well enough to appear (not as his usual self, in any case), unless they find the source of bleeding right away (now), they operate and he is totally recovered. But they can't find the source of bleeding so far.

A new quote from Donald Trump just went up on TMZ, and it said that Bret "is in big, big trouble," and the "prognosis is not good." Trump has been in contact with the family and friends holding vigil at the hospital.

Yeah, I missed the first hour and twenty minutes of the show so I didn't see that part, just what went on in the boardroom.

I feel for Brett's family.
