Celebrities at Disney?

I was exiting the ladies restroom that is located between the two restaurants Hollywood & Vine & 50's Prime Time. I was headed back to the H&V, when a man and a little boy came out of the men's restroom heading back to Prime Time. He wasn't watching where he was going because he was looking down. He bumped right into me head first. When he looked up, I realized it was Spike Lee. He apologized, and quickly ducked his head down as if he was trying to prevent himself from being recognized.

I'm not into celebrities at all, so lucky for him he bumped into me.

This doesn't really count as celebrities, but I enjoyed it more than the Spike Lee incident. There was a group of children being guided around the park by a CM and they were getting head of the line privileges. After seeing them several times that day, my curiosity got the best of me at Goofy's Barnstormer and I asked the CM who they were. She said they were Walt Disney's grandchildren. I'm guessing great grandchildren maybe? I told her, "Well, I guess if anybody should get head of the line privileges they should!" :earsboy: I thought it was sweet.

I am jealous of the Vincent D'Onfrio and Gary Sinise sightings! I swear...I would watch anything in movies or TV with either of those two! (do we have a "swoon" smilie?)

I saw the great Sid Cavanagh and Les Smith. They were great. They had such a huge crowd around them. But I had to wait and get their autograph. They even did a song from their latest album "But for the Horses". I loved it.

We were just at Planet Hollywood last night and Carrot Top was there. He is no longer a lil guy. He is all bulked up and beefy! That is all I have seen.
Completely true about Carrot Top! I've seen his live comedy show several times and he has GUNS!

Several years ago, I saw Rose Marie from the Dick Van **** Show, which was cool. This past February, I was lucky enough to make it into the hot seat at the Millionaire show. Afterwards, a man approached me and asked me what prizes I had won. I was still so nervous from being in the show that I didn't look at him, I only held up my prizes. He said I did a good job and looked great on camera. That's when I looked at him, and it was John Davidson. :))) I couldn't believe it! He still looks great.

We were going to Kona Cafe and when we were walking in the CM asked do you have your camera bldfjsajd asldjjasd is here...WHAT, WHO??? I could not understand him. I thought he was talking about a character. All we made out was a "B" sound. We went up and ate our breakfast. There was a very nice looking man talking on his cell phone (talked the whole time)while his family and a CM ate. Later we were getting into the elevator and someone held the door for us....a very very HUGE arm held the door open. We stepped in and we were having trouble getting DS wheelchair in. The wife of the big armed man scolded him to move over. He kept saying sorry, I's so sorry. We said it was ok and we made a comment about such a little boy and such a big chair...the smiled. When they got off DH went nuts...do you know who that was. I said a man with HUGE arms.....it was Barry Bonds the baseball player....He was so happy. I was a little surprised that the CM would tell people...

While on Honeymoon in 99 my DH and I saw Kelly Ripa and Mark Conselous (sp??) with their son (only child at the time) My DH says...."why do those people get to be escorted around the park by Disney" They were the people in the vests...I turned and there they were. It was right by the indy speedwaay. DH has loved Kelly Ripa ever since!!

AT EPCOT on the same trip...we saw Tim Burton and Susan Surandon (according to DH) by Mexico.
I missed it.... :confused3 :confused3

That's one of the nicest Disney memories I have ever heard. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

This doesn't really count, since it was at Universal Studios and not at WDW, but, since we're talking about celebrities, I thought I might as well just write about it. August 2004, the day after Hurricane Charley, my family and I were at Universal Studios, when an extremely tall and familiar gentleman passed by me. I looked at him and I immediately turned over to my father and said "That's Sinbad! ("A Different World," "Jingle All The Way"), and he turned over to my mother, sister and grandparents and informed them. Sinbad and his family and my family and I were both leaving the park at this same moment, so we were walking behind his family the whole time. He was with an enormous group of people, and they were having such a great time. People would stop him along the way to say a quick hello....except for one man who asked him to sit down with him for a little while to talk - Sinbad replied he'd love to, but "Sorry, man, I'm with my family, and we really don't get to spend so much time together these days."

I did get some pictures of him, he's a very nice guy.

Thanks everyone for sharing - how fun!

I love the Disney Kids one!

My friend and her family saw Dee Schneider (sp) from Twisted Sister having breakfast at CRT! It was funny because, I was thinking Woa, big deal  but she was SO excited. He was having brkfst. with his family.

That's the day that I discovered how truly strange my friends musical taste is! :)

Last year we were always in the right place at the right time......

In the ATL aiport we saw Dre from OutKast. He was dressed real low key..... At MCO we saw Aaron Tippin ( country music singer ) with his family... Then at Disney ( MGM ) we saw :lovestruc Hayden Christensen :lovestruc outside of the Star tours ride...... He was dressed way low key! Of course I was with my hubby, but if hubby had not been there I would have lost it..... I am a grown woman, but that boy is fine!!!! He really acted like he did not want to be bothered so we let him be... I know if I was famous, I would like my alone time... So, out of respect, we let him be... But, like I said, if I was by my self I would have lost all self control!!!!.... :rotfl2:

We were there diring the Christmas holidays once (early December) and we seen Wayne Brady. He was doing some skits for Disney's Christmas Day show. We watched for a few minutes but the place was packed (It was near France in Epcot), so we left to beat the crowds! LOL

monorail ramps into Epcot....

Or boys - then 5 - were soooooooo excited. :goodvibes One of them kept bouncing ahead of us, skipping along - and bounced right into a VERY tall gentleman and his wife.

Ooops..our son fell down, and the man stumbled a little..we ran up, apologizing profusely, and the man kindly said, as he helped put our guy back on his feet:

"That's ok, little man, I'm excited too"..

I'm like: "Your voice sounds so familiar..." As we thank him again, and we're walking away...

Morgan Freeman.

:sunny:

On our honeymoon, my husband saw Robin Williams. He was in the main building at the Grand Floridian. I missed it - probably in the bathroom or gift shop. :teeth: Now, he always says he wants to stay in the Robin Williams suite. On the CP, he saw several celebrities. Tiger Woods (his favorite), 98 degrees, *NSYNC, and that's all I can remember right now.

When we went in June they were still running the Star Wars thing at MGM and Jake Lloyd (who played young Anakin) was there, he was in the parade and later was doing autographs. I didn't get in line for an autograph, but I got a great picture of him.

Okay I have to add this and everyone can laugh at me....I met and saw Marshall Dyllon (a now defunct country pop music group) at Planet Hollywood in 2001; and Paul Martin is in that group, and Paul was to be in the pop music group O Town (anyone remember that???)....created by Lou Perlman who did NSync and BSB and such....so that's my add....they were all so cute and I instantly turned into a 13 year old girl, all giggly and silly being around such 'cute boys' lol...

Listen, I would have lost it anyway. I'm 11 years his senior, but, mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm! I've already asked hubby permission to run away with Hayden if he asks. Hubby says (with a laugh if you can believe it :confused3 ) that IFI ever see Hayden, and IF he ever even throws a glance my way, I'm free to be his love slave. What a great hubby!!! (Hey a gal can dream.)

In December 1994 we sawVanna White at the Cape May Cafe. She was pregenant at the time and she and another woman (with very large breasts) were sitting in a secluded area of the restaurant. My husband and the boys were too busy looking at the large breasted woman that they didn't notice Vanna. She was very polite and realized that I noticed her but the CM was talking with her and she nodded to me as they passed by. I wouldn't intrude on her dinner but it's hard not to look when you recognize someone.

We also saw Scottie from Star Trek at the Grand Floridian in decmeber 1989.

My son saw Christina Aguliera and Destiny's Child doing concerts for a Disney Summer TV special in April of 2000.

I saw Mr. Disney, himself, in a parade when I was a little girl in Disneyland a long, long, time ago and it breaks my heart when I think that someone took the picture from my son's room. Some things you just can't replace.

My Dad used to work at Harrah's Club in Lake Tahoe and he saw Mr. Disney several times, always said he was a lovely man.

This was at Disneyland last year - we ran into one of the actors that was in Band of Brothers. Both DH and I's eyes were racing to think where this guy was from while we were all in line for ice cream. Then it dawned on us. His wife was pregos and she & their little girl got ice cream while he ate carrots and grass. He must of been prepping for another movie.

We didnt dare bother him - after all he didnt seem thrilled to be eating like a rabbit!! :rotfl:
