I'm also waiting for the first issue of Celebrations. I subscribed after I heard about it from Lou's site. I also purchased his cds - tours of Main Street & Adventureland - love listening to them in the car.

We get the Tales from the Laughing Place magazine. Not many issues per year and expensive, but the photos are really neat and there are interesting behind the scenes articles.

I also subscribe to the Laughing Place and like you said it is expensive and comes out only four times a year but it has some beautiful pictures and artwork..... more of a coffee table book than a regular magazine , at least to me.

Thankfully those have kept me busy reading in September! Tales has been a fantastic read so far about the history of Disney's Animal Kingdom with Joe Rohde (who is my hero!).

Does anybody know the correct email contact for this magazine? I place my order a few weeks ago through Paypal and for some reason Paypal has my old address from 4 years ago. By the time I caught that, the payment had already been accepted. I don't know where it pulled up my old address since I've been using Paypal with no problems like this many times since my move. I've tried emailing Guide to the Magic twice and my email just bounces back.

I sent an email last night and just got an email back, here is the email I got~

Hi Sarah!
We're all working very hard getting that first issue out, right now we are
still aiming for the end of September (though at this point it's more likely
that it slip into October a bit...just remember, good things come to those
who wait!! It looks like we're in good company though...the first issue was
originally slated to have a profile of the new American Idol attraction,
which was supposed to open at the end of the summer. But alas, it won't be
ready until early next year...though considering my lack of vocal skill
that's probably a good thing!!). I can tell you that it is shaping up to be
a lot of fun, I do hope you enjoy it. If anyone on the DISBoards is
wondering when the first issue is coming, let them that it's nearly ready
and it won't be long now!
