could anyone tell me where celebration is and what is it. we are going to the world in october and have a couple of days just for sight seeing. thank you for any info.

Celebration Florida is a small town located on 192 east of Disney. For WHAT it is check the website at www.celebrationfl.com

Worth going to see. They have some cute shops and nice restaurants.

We visited last year and DH ended up in Celebration Hospital for nine days with emergency surgery - one place in Celebration we didn't plan to see. However, it was a superb hospital and we are grateful for their care and professionalism (especially if you know the standards in English hospitals at the moment!).

Just want to vouch for Celebration hospital if you are in the area and need treatment. It is by far the best hospital in the Kissimmee/Disney area.

Celebration itself is a charming place. Totally free to wander around, nice cafes/restaurants, rocking chairs by the lake, excellent cinema and interesting homes to look at.

You can easily while away a good 4-5 hours and get away from all the Disney hustle and bustle !

Nice enough town, but not a whole lot to do that you wouldn't find in your own home town. And without a car it's not a practical side trip.

Without a car you really aren't going to be able to explore much sorry to say. You could get a taxi.
