And the food is pretty good also.
We decided on CTT this trip, as we had friends going down with us who are major meat and potatoes people and I'm always on the lookout for places that offer more than the "usual subjects" beer-wise. Plus, I don't feel too bad at going off site--Celebration is a Disney Town, and it's only a short drive by car (or maybe not--see my post on the Transportation Board!). We wanted our friends to get a look at the town, and a few trips back we had a fine meal at Cafe D'Antonio.
So the decision made, off we went.
CTT is located on the lake front at Celebration. Definately a casual place, it has a bar/TV/eating area off to the left as you enter. Farther back, there are booths and tables for a more quiet experience. And there is an outside patio area as well. For anyone familiar with restaurants on York Rd. in Timonium, Md. it had the look and feel of place like The Stil, or Michaels.
The menu had a "back home" feel too. Lots of fried seafood, steaks, chicken and the like. They have wine of course, and 99 different beers offered in bottles along with 6 draft selections. This time around, I had Lion Lager from Sri Lanka and a Blue Moon White (Wheat) Ale from Belgium.
For my entree, I had the fried seafood platter. Had shrimp, scallops, fried clams, and Scrod. Came with fries and a salad and wasn't bad at all. Stood up pretty well with the kinds of fried seafood we have around here. Mrs. U got the special that nite, which was a tuna steak. The server said it was cooked medium rare, but could be prepared any way. She ordered it well done--a mistake as it turned out, as it was quite dry.
Our friends both had chicken dishes--one had Chicken Milanese (chicken pounded thin, with sauce) while the other had a boneless chicken breast grilled "plain". One of them will not eat a salad unless it has French Dressing--and ONLY French dressing will he eat. But of course CTT had no French dressing, so he just ate his salad plain. Our server felt sorry for him, and brought out several small samples of other types of salad dressing. Nope--he hated them all!!
For desserts we all split the Boston Cream Pie and the Strawberry Shortcake and coffee all around.
All in all not a bad meal--prices were reasonable and the service good. To compare it to a WDW spot, it had a Big River Grill "feel" to it, but with a more extensive menu and lots more beer selections.
Here's their web link, with the menu and the beer list:
