I've never driven through Celebration, but I've heard a lot about it. They do have some pretty extreme rules, but there's a lot of subdivisions in and around the Orlando area that have some kind of rules, no where near as bad as Celebration's rules though. In the subdivision I live in, the Homeowner's Association has control over how your yard looks, your grass has to be neat, you can't put too many decorations out during the holidays, you have to contact them if you're going to paint your house. You get charged if you don't follow the rules.

Wow. I find that to be riddiculously extreme.
