Celebration at Christmas

Quite fancy going to Celebration this Christmas - has anyone been to the 'Now Snowing' winter wonderland??

Hi Tracy, We've not been before but we have booked for our Xmas dinner at Columbia. It seems to be one of those places we always say we'll visit and then forget all about it once we arrive. i've read on a prev post that it is beautifull at christmas So can't wait so see it.

I have been!!! We made dinner reservations at the italian on the corner (cant remember its name) but arrived about an hour early so I could experience the snow. I can say it was absolutly fantastic. The kids where lovely to watch and the decorations and tree are amazing. I highly recommend it

We have done it 3 times now, its great fun, Also love the leaves are falling in October.
On warmer days we can spend over an hour watching kids (and crazy adults ) play in the fountains at Celebration.

It gets quite busy when the snow is falling but Americans don't like hanging around in the cold
In Oct for Leaves are falling it gets a lot busier and all night, but there is more going on then like pumpkin painting and live music.
We usually order a Pizza and garlic rolls (they are delicious, smothered in garlic butter) to go from Upper Crust pizza, Market st. Take back to hotel, their pizzas are massive. Costs less than $20 and we can't eat it all.

The Now Snowing event is every night of December, concluding with fireworks at midnight on New Year's Eve.

Thats a shame, Deb, we'll be winging our way back over the Atlantic by midnight on New Years eve!!
