Firstly to say getting away hitch free this time was great :)

So here are the highs -

The low crowd levels for the first 9 days
Great weather - sunny and hot
Some lovely meals including Celebration Italian
Getting to experience Victoria and Albert's all dressed up
Being away for my Birthday
The view from our room at the BWI
Twilight and DTD checkin
Boat transfers at BWI
Spa at Saratoga Springs
Getting exits seats both ways in the 'bubble' as unable to prebook
Finally getting to Jellyrolls

And now the lows -

The crowd levels around and after Presidents day, so much higher than expected
People walking around and smoking in the parks and by hotel pools
The BWI bus service as it is shared with 4 other resorts
Bus drivers who cram too many people on to dangerous levels when another bus behind waiting virtually empty
Still not going on Toy Story Mania the crowds were manic when we tried!

I am sure there are more highs and lows but can't remember at the moment!

Claire ;)

Sounds fantastic Claire.

Always nice to have more highs than lows:thumbsup2

oh you tease sounds like its going to be a fab trip report !!

great teaser.
disappointed about the smoking around the parks, cant stand the smell.
cant wait to hear more. :goodvibes

Shocked to hear about the smoking as I had been led to believe this was not an issue at WDW.

Glad to see that the highs outweighed the lows :goodvibes

Sound like you had a great trip, I can't wait to hear more about it:thumbsup2

Good to see all your highs and really interesting to see the lows. Sooo love Victoria and Alberts. we did not go last time as I thought Kirsty was too young to leave on her own, but was too old for the babysitting clubs, but are looking forward to going again next time when she will definately be old enough to leave.

A bit nervous about the crowd levels when we next go as I know July is when the US schools are out as have never been when it has been busy before. would hate to miss out on Toy Story mania like you did.

Also really pleased to hear your weather was good.

Thanks for sharing

Susan

We noticed that the smokers were more prevalent that previous years as well - both at Disney and Universal. And they obviously knew it was wrong because they were trying to keep their ciggies out of site of the CMs
Glad that you had a good trip otherwise though. Make TSM your top priority for next time - it really is worth the wait :thumbsup2

Totally agree with you Claire about the crowd levels after presidents day!...& the smoking! Also a lot of rude visitors pushing :headache:
Glad you had a wonderful trip :goodvibes

Glad you had a lovely trip. I wouldn't like the smokers either or the crowded buses.
