Wow! Those are great pictures! I got to see a bit of of last trip, but the actual festival hadn't started. I hope to someday really enjoy it all.

So, we wait for awhile to get the tea tour started. Our CM was nice, but had some rad sunglasses on and read from a paper, so it seemed a little...off. But I had a nice time and learned bunches of tihngs about tea.

So, we finish the tour, which was cool and I think only done during F&G Festival.

No, but we got a packet of teas as a gift.

The talk was right there at the garden behind the tea store. It wasn't very long, but it was nice to experience.

Afterwards, I thought her candy was sold inside but it wasn't. She also not allowed to give them away anymore. It's a health issue and it seems people were complaining bout not everyone getting her samples.

The short answer of a long story is no.
DH has been having trouble with the hip replacement nonstop. He's been to every kind of Dr imaginable over the summer. In late Oct, he finally said yes to the Dec Disney trip, as long as his next appointment went well...or should I say the same as all others, no results. He then said he wasn't sure he wanted to spend a whole week there, and of course I grumbled and wined. Then he said to look at going to DL, which we did, and kind of decided no for that time. Then he said, he wants to do the cruise...the plan was before he went to the Dr, though not set in stone, was to go to AKL for one night (Dec 8) and then the 3 day wonder and hten back to WDW for 3 more nights.
Of course he went to the Dr and everything fell through. He is going to have his hip replacement replaced....Dec 6, so there went the trip. At first he was going to put it off til lafter the trip, but he had already started complaining, and I told him, just get it done and if all goes well, then we wil lgo in March....so the tentative plan now is March. I am very disappointed that we won't get to see the Christmas decorations, but I know he needs to get better.
He is also now throwing DL around again, so who knows for sure where we'll go. LOL!

I love that painting. Can I ask how much it was. It is beautiful.

I did read up on your PTR last night; so sorry the hip replacement is not working well for Skip.

The Christmas decorations are awesome, but if he would ahve difficult walking and not enjoying it, then no one is enjoying it. Maybe you can plan for next December.

God knows my Dec 09 TR has plenty of pics for you! I'm planning to have just as many for this year as well. I think. I hope. And I will have it up alot quicker.

The Larry Dotson artwork? I want to say it as $19.99 very reasonable. I'm not sure if it was priced higher during the actual holidays.

Today is my last day! Normally, I don't visit parks since my flight out is usually early, but this time, my flight was later and I'm able to enjoy a morning at Magic Kingdom before I leave on a jetplane.


Good morning! It's time for Crystal Palace breakfast at Magic Kingdom!

This morning, I will be meeting Dawn (Dawnbu40) and Caitlyn (PrincessCaitlyn) and grandmother/mother at Crystal Palace for an early breakfast.

I'm sure I'm at TTC about now. I think our ADR time was 8:30am-ish?

I meet up with the gang before the park officially opens and take some time with getting photos without gangs of people.

I think we got our food first, then the celebrities showed up!!! All the interaction was good and enjoyable.

Thank you so much for Dawn & Caitlyn taking pictures of me with the characters. It is definitely one down side of doing the parks solo. I'm glad i got the chance to experience Crystal Palace and get my picture taken without asking a strangers to do it!

After we finished eating (and we saw the characters twice around), we did wander a bit to take in the atomsphere.

That said, the food was good. Nothing to shout about as with most the buffets, but good food.

We head outside and I take more landscape photos.

I think at this point, we wee going to split up but then I checked the Disney App on my cell and discovered Tiana has a meeting time! So off we go to figure out exactly where she is.

As we go over the bridge into Liberty Square, we find a PP and guess what he has???

We also find out exactly where the character meet was and head off there. We got there just in time and we waited only a little bit, then met Tiana & her prince....

We had a very involved discussion on NJ, NYC, and how the prince should be mine. I also found out they were actually having an appearance in NYC in the next few days. Turns out, as I was trying to figure that out a few days later, it was a media appearance only to induct Tiana has an official princess.

This was really one of the better "face character" meets.

I think at this point, I saw good-bye to Dawn & her family for a wonderful morning.

It looks like this was my next destination & first attraction of the day, my favorite!!!

I decide to stay in the area since I want to go on the Liberty Belle Riverboat since I always seem to miss it. So I wander around a bit...you can discover lots of cool things......

As I wait for Liberty Belle's ride time, I wander around right in the area and really notice the "Liberty" part of Liberty Square.

I think at this point, I decide it's time to go into the waiting area of Liberty Belle - I did go into a few stores as well, just to see them. I usually stay out of stores! LOL

As I was walking up, I got a text from Dawn inviting me to lunch. They made a last minute ADR to Tony's Town Square, another place I have never been. I was just about to text back and I look up to sit down and guess who was there????

Dawn and her family??? how awesome was that? So, instead of texting back, I told her that I would be happy to join them for lunch.

We board the riverboat and take a sceneic route around the lake and Tom Sawyer's Island

After we finish our enjoyable tour, we disembark. I think we had enough time to go on a ride together.....before we head off to Tony's. I want to say I think the ADR time was 1:20.....

After our riverboat ride, we head off to Pirates of the Carribean! I always enjoy this ride!

We finished and get dumped into the gift shop. Normally, I don't linger here, but this gift shop had one of my favorite things....

And since I never seem to catch it open, the "pirate room" where you can change into a pirate, sort of like bippity boppity boutique-style.

..and as luck would have it, an actual lesson from the pirate himself! we took a few moments to catch him in all his glory.

I'm thinking we hit a gift shop because to my delight, I found this!!!

Who would have thunk a Halloween tin vinylmation would still be around in March???

At this point, I think we head to Tony's for our lunch ADR.

So, I head off to .....

I go on the cruise....I always expect a great skipper since my first ride on this was such an awesome one....sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It was fine, I think.

However, I really like the themeing of Jungle Cruise.
