So sorry for the lack of updates!


So far this week: I gave half deposit to a contractor to finally repairing my house from damage in March (read: $$$$), had a car accident, my bro still didn't keep his word, found out a dear family friend went into Hospice last night and more than a little bit stunned & hurt that 3 really good friends (for decades!) planned a trip to Italy months ago and "accidentily" told me today. And I'm not sure whether it's over yet. So, you know, I've been a little stressed out.

And I still need to decide to AP or not to AP.

Update:

I'm planning to continue my TR today.

The house damage repair is coming along, thankfully. But, my insurance co is being a you-know-what.

My friend in hospice passed away, so the wake & funeral took alot out of me.

My car is currently half-fixed.

And yes, I bit the bullet & am now an AP holder.

So, the last time I left you I had finished with The Sum of All Thrills & touring Pixie Hollow. It should be around 11am-ish now.

I probably (this is why one should keep up with journaling! lol), continued to roam around the topiaries since I did have a 12noon ADR and then going to an event. The whole point was to take in all this gorgeous greenery!

I thought that you were the DISer that I asked about the Candlelight Package before? Well, getting close to the booking date and I am hoping for Le Cellier! We are planning to see the 8:15 show...do you think dinner at 6:00 is pushing it with the time? I was allowing an hour and 15 for dinner then about a 15-20 minute friendship boat ride to Germany---then in line at America around 7:45. TIA for any advice

I was soo nervous with the AP, but with the amount of days I was going and the parking alone made it worth it.

The NYC store should reopen in the "Fall", whenever that will be.

CP packages go on sale on Aug 26! Finally, right? I think my friend, her mom & I have to decide which place, but it may be Le Cellier too. I just don't know which day, exactly.

Unless, you have a thing for the boats, I would just walk over, especially if a boat is late or unning slow.

If I remember correctly from last year, we got in line around 7:30pm, it was way back to Japan! We got fairly decent seats, though. I was happy.

I decided last night to go to the DIS Meet at Hersheypark this weekend.

It's in the thread called "Dis'ers Do Disney - Sweet Meet" under the Planning Forum --> Unplugged podcast or just go to my history.

If any other nearby people are around, you should try to make it. It's turning out to be quite the turnout!!!!!!

The last I left you, I was heading into my ADR for Biergarten, albeit 30 minutes late!

A quick vid of the clock


I finally get called and seated with an older couple, younger couple with a small child and two young women. I had small talk with everyone but the young woman; they were talking a different language and seemed disconnected from everyone else, so no one bothered with them.

Our waiter took our drink orders and we headed to the buffet. At this late date, I don’t remember exactly what I ate but I know I had sausage/brats/kraut of all kinds. And it was good.

I also got some of the bread since it is the same as Le Cellier! Good stuff. I seem to remember being satisfied with the food, though long lines at a buffet is also a bit annoying.

And luckily, I also got to see the show! It was great, I was so excited to see it. A bonus to my day.The entertainment was better than the food. Seriously.

At some point, people were called to the stage area & were dancing. The bells were awesome.

I also tweeted out a pic & video. I want to say I was there for over an hour. I was getting a little worried about making my next event, a live taping of WDW Today podcast at Odyssey building.

After the Biergarten, I wound my way around to Odyssey building to go to my next event, the live taping WDW Today podcast. This was actually part of a grand gathering called TentFest, but I was only part of this one thing since they were selling separate tickets. I thought it might be fun to watch.

According to my pics, it looked like I stopped to take a few photos.

I got to Odyssey, only to find a big long line, CM placing wristbands and guarding the door. What?? Perplexed, my name got checked off the list and I wait in line. For a long time. As it turns out, there was a greeting line for the guys in the podcast.

While this was great, it caused a horrible bottleneck. I didn’t know what was happening, since the only single door to get in was blocked by a CM and no one said anything. If I had known, I probably would have skipped the line in favor of finding a seat.

I did talk a minute to 2 of the guys in the podcast, while nice, I would have preferred actually getting in, finding a place to sit and grabbing the desserts/drink they had. The guys probably would have done better wandering around and introducing themselves.

As it was, I finished the big long line, said hello, got my drink/dessert and proceeded to stand awkwardly trying to find a seat. Each table was already packed. I already used up all of my reserve just by getting through the line and talking to the podcast guys, forget about trying to ask complete strangers if there was an open seat in the room.

Thankfully, a New Zealand couple was behind me and also didn’t have a seat, so finally someone suggested bringing another table in, so we could sit.

Let me tell you, it was not comfortable standing around, both hands full, hoping someone will help you.

The NZ couple were great and fun people to hang with. We all enjoyed the live podcast.

Even though, I had tweeted that I was going and 1 person did tweet back earlier in the day/day before who would also be there, I was at my limit and just wanted to go afterwards. So I did.

I've visited F&G twice now and it's such a nice time to visit!

The DisMeet was meh. They had their core group & weren't too interested in anyone else. I had a good time though; we were able to have our tiny group, so it was all good. Plus they seemed to like drinking alot. And I don't. Sooo....

Nice update! We are trying Biergarten for the first time next week so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it!

After the WDWToday podcast live taping, I headed over to World Showcase. Maelstrom seemed to have a short line, so I decided to visit the Vikings again.

I like this ride, just enough excitement & fun for me! I did post their hidden mickeys before. Please go back and visit my December TR for the photos.

When the ride ended, I couldn’t get out! LOL! The way out is through the movie (which I’ve never seen) and the doors weren’t open, so we all had to wait and wait, until the trolls let us out!


I'm currently being held hostage in Norway! lol let me out!

I was so happy that the trolls let me out that I took a few pictures of him.

Afterwards, I visited China and checked out their display of zodiac topiaries. Apparentely, I’m in the Year of the Rat.
