Celebrating Early B-Day?

We are planning on being in Disney beginning of August, my GS's 3rd B-day is end of Month, so he will still be under 3 when we visit. Would it be appropriate for us to celebrate his B-day while we are there? I don't want to run into any problems - especially turning 3 since everything is no longer free. But he loves to sign Happy Birthday, and gets such a charge out of blowing out candles, We would love to celebrate his B-day in Chef Mickey's w/him. Do you think it would cause any problems in doing this? Should we bring his B-certif. to prove that he is still officially 2?

When my dd was 2 I made ressies for the week after she turned 3. I was asked by Disney reservations, "How old is she?" Currently, she was 2. I was never asked how old she would be at the time of our trip. She turned 3 the week before our vacation, I paid for her as a two year old (that's what they charged me, who am I to argue? At the time, I honestly thought it was 3 and under that was free.) , and we celebrated her birthday the entire time. No one asked for her birth certificate. A big deal was made of her birthday, not of the week's difference. I wouldn't worry about it. If someone asks, you are honestly celebrating his birthday a week early. Hopefully no CM would ruin the magic by getting that picky.

This would be the honest truth, he will not turn 3 until the end of the month, we were there last year for his 2nd B-day, but can't go that week because my son is getting married so we have to take an early vacation this summer as to not interfer with wedding plans. But GS loves B-days, everytime we have a cake at my house for anything, there must be a candle on it for him to blow out!!
