Hi

We are going to WDW on the 10th November :woohoo: we are celebrating my boys birthday on the 18th. My twin boys will be 4 on the 18th November. What a wonderful way to spend your birthday. However, my dd birthday is on the 18th December and she will be 8. I know she will be upset that the boys birthday will be celebrated out there. Especially having the characters sing happy birthday to them. I also know that if we go to Guest services they have a badge, so all the CM know its thier birthday.

What should we do. We cant change the dates, because these are the only dates that both and mine and Bruces dates can be booked together. So do we have a Casey bday towards the end of the holiday? Or just simply say unfortunately that is the way it goes. I dont want to upset or dissapoint her. We were thinking of booking another character meal and getting a cake ordered so we can celebrate her birthday over there too?

Any suggestions would be great. :thumbsup2

Why not just have a special 'Casey Day' where she can choose what you do and where you eat. You can explain that she's having a special day because the boys get to celebrate their birthday there, but it's too early for hers. You could even let her choose a present (something she's had her eye on all trip, maybe) on her 'special day'.

My son will be having his 13th birthday at disneyworld on the 25th November and we have plan, i.e. character breakfast. My daughters birthday is in August but we are going to have one day which is special to her towards the end of our holiday, i.e. she picks the park and we go for character breakfast her choice and taking her for the middle package at the botique in DTD. So i suggest you do the same, you could give her some money for that day too. My daughter is saving her birthday money for disney.

What about a trip to the BBB boutique just for your dd. Unfortunately my dd is too old for this now(15) but she would have loved to do this when she was younger, now its shopping.

I was going to say basically what Deb and Donna have already said. Explain it is the boys day but have Casey pick a day towards the end of your holiday to what park she would like to go to. Show her BBB at DTD and pictures that people have posted on the Dis and see if she would like to go there for one of her b'day pressies! Or ask her if there is something she would like from Disney as one of her presents. Then when it is Caseys b'day, celebrate with whatever you have planned for her b'day also.

I wouldn't change the holiday dates, as my Health visitor once said to me " remember YOU are the parent, not the other way round".

Good luck with what you choose, :thumbsup2 i'm sure Casey will be more than happy to have her "own" day of the holiday.

Great ideas :thumbsup2 I will book Casey into BBB. She will love that. Thanks X

I'm sure she'll love it at BBB Michelle, perhaps you could make it a special girls day and leave the guys at one of the parks or something, treat her to beaches and cream as well or something?

Im suer someone on her (i have a feeling it was mandy) said their daughter had an "unbirthday" day when they went! And treated it asthough it was an actual birthday!

I was gonna say BBB Michelle, there is nothing that would make a little girl feel more special, you can check it out for yourself in August, you could actually do this with casey as there is no upper age limit so have a mum and DD day;)

She will really love BBB Michelle:thumbsup2 we took DD there for her 7th birthday (she's the 17th Dec!).

I would book an early morning time, one because it is so popular and two because then she gets the full day to be 'special'.

Hiya

I am going to ring them up today and book her an appt at BBB. She will love it. :goodvibes

Don't forget you can either book at the original DTD location, or the new one at Cinderella's Castle.

Hi

Wow cinderellas castle didnt know that. I thought it was at DTD only. Is it the same no?

Yes, it's the same Michelle. I think because it was so popular and som nay little princesses were going to get their hair/amke up etc. done to then go to CRT for a meal with the princesses, Dinsey as usual cottoned onto a good thing and opened another BBB at the castle :)

Casey is booked in on the 22nd November Thanksgiving Day. We wanted to be at MK with the hustle and bustle that day. She will look lovely and thought what a way to spend a celebration day in WDW. She will love it. All I need to do now is keep quiet.

I am off to book my ADR's now well some of them anyway. We are still making our intinery and only have a few days that are set in stone. LTT on the 18th for the boys birthday and will be ordering them a personalised cake as well. Cant wait to go and see the childrens faces.
