We just got back from a fun birthday trip. DD turned 8 and DS turned 3. We celebrated during the week as follows:
Cinderella's Royal Table (Late Lunch) - had both birthdays on PS (and mentioned at check in) When we arrived at the table it was covered with streamers and cute mickey confetti. The kids each received a birthday brownie covered with mickey sprinkles and a candle, along with Magical Memory certificates (bring something to keep these from getting ruined while you are in the park).
Rose & Crown (dinner) - we celebrated my dad's birthday here. We received a complementary dessert - and I think it helped us get a wonderful waterside patio table from which we were able to enjoy Illuminations.
50s Prime Time (dinner) - also celebrated both kids birthdays here. Each recieved a huge cupcake and candle, and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". We took pictures with "Uncle Pat". The real fun was that each kid recieved a birthday card, signed by not only our waiter (Uncle Pat), but all our "cousins" at the other tables around us.
Norway Princess Breakfast - As this was actually DD day, this was only for her. The princesses were gracious, and took time for many pictures and autographs. We had Aurora, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Mulan, Belle and Snow White. The all signed a Magical Memory certificate. Our waitress also had all the wait staff sign the certificate.
Chef's de France (Late Lunch) - DD received a delicious french pastry and a french version of Happy Birthday sung to her by about 8 good looking french waiters - along with a kiss on the hand. She was in heaven.
Chef Mickey's (Breakfast)- DS big day, and the ultimate disney birthday party. My son was seated at a special placemat with birthday button. About every hour they sing a song and waive napkins to celebrate the special days. When it was DS turn, they gave him a big cupcake and candle. He loved the attention. He is still using the placemat at home.
Pizzaria Uno (dinner - Crossroads Center) - they gave us a small cake , enough for us to share with the next table, for DS birthday.
Also, go to guest services at the parks and ask for birthday buttons - each park has them, and they are different. We got them for Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Wear the pins and your daughter will recieve special attention - We got a call from Goofy in Germany, a oragami flower in Japan, and a special note in Chinese on the masks in China, among other things. All this made for very special birthdays for the kids. So in summary GO FOR IT
