Celebrating between birthdays

Since we have AP's and some time off from school my girls (and I) decided that instead of birthday parties and (some) presents we would take off for a WDW trip. DH can't get off from work so it's a girls only trip. I thought they were happy about this (and they are) but suddenly my 6yo feels a little sad about no party. My older dd has a late Oct birthday and my younger dd has an early Dec birthday and we will be in WDW mid Nov. Just about exactly in between but to celebrate their birthdays and as a birthday present. My girls are not the type to ask for things and they would NEVER wear a "today is my birthday" button unless it was their birthday. (Note to those who do, its FINE with me - my girls just don't like attention).

I am considering doing a cake to CSR - so we can party privately, has anyone had a cake delivered to a moderate? I know the deluxe hotels do cakes but do the moderates? I have no problem arranging it or paying for it but it will be tough since its just me and the girls and I would want to surprise them.

We have several ps's so I could also do something at a restaurant - any other ideas?

We are going to be celebrating birthdays during our trip in November, too. We are going to be hitting my DS's birthday and mine. For the days that we are there that aren't birthdays, I did mention it to the CM for specific meals. I want my DS to feel like this trip is special. We usually celebrate his birthday for a whole week between party for his friends, party for family, cupcakes at school, etc. so this is going to take the place of most of that.

How about planning a Fantasmic Dining Package and tell them that you are celebrating birthdays? We are doing this one night at Hollywood & Vine. The CM told me that my DS will receive a cupcake, a card and a balloon. If your girls don't like to have happy birthday sung to them or want a big deal made, I am sure that the CMs will accommodate you. Or how about picking one day and designating that as the big birthday day? Maybe this way you could convince them to wear the birthday pins and to treat the day as really special.
