Celebrating a Birthday - character breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner

Just to clarify and be clear; The poster was talking about Garden Grove at the Swan/Dolphin, not Garden Grill in Epcot. Garden Grill is all character meals.

Chef Mickey is the fab five....Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.

Another vote for Crystal Palace brft - it is our favorite, along with Tusker House, and my favorite characters- definitely would be where I would go for mt birthday! They have made to order omelettes and will also make Mickey pancakes(with chocolate chips if you like) as well as the puffy French toast! As an Eeyore fan, I think it is a perfect choice!

I loved Cape May for breakfast. Minnie, Goofy, Daisy and Donald in beach attire.

For dinner, you can get traditional Tday dinner at LTT.

Crystal Palace is an awesome character breakfast! Atmosphere, food, character interaction-wins all around!

We went to Boma for dinner when we went to WDW for Thanksgiving. The food was awesome (such a comfort-food focused cuisine) & we prefer to have Thanksgiving dinner outside of the parks-less chaotic for a family holiday. AKL resort is so relaxing & wonderful to walk around to burn off all that yummy dinner afterwards.

Definitely would not recommend TE. We had a bad experience where we tried it for a Thanksgiving dinner 5 years ago and had a long wait after our ADR time. They were really packed and food kept running out but was not getting replaced very quickly and what we had was just ok. We tried Turkey Day dinner at Boma a few years ago and it was great!

My favorite character breakfast is Garden Grill in the Land at EPCOT. The character interaction was fantastic! I went there on my solo birthday trip last year. Even got a birthday card signed by the characters.

I haven't been to WDW for Thanksgiving, but I would think that Liberty Tree Tavern would be a good choice for the traditional meal.
