Where do you think would be the most FUN to have them acknowledge DS's birthday? (where would the CM's make it the biggest/most fun experience for a 3 yr old -- the Happy Birthday part - not necessarily the meal itself - if that makes any sense...)

He'll actually turn 3 five days after we get home so we can realistically chose any day we're there.

Places we have ADR's (in order of arrival):

Spoodles
Hollywood & Vine (Playhouse Disney lunch)
Brown Derby
Garden Grill (lunch)
Marrakesh
Cape May (breakfast)
Whispering Canyon Café
Crystal Palace
Concourse Steakhouse (before Magical Fireworks Cruise)
Le Cellier
'Ohana (breakfast)
'Ohana (dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern (will be in costume for MNSSHP)
50's Prime Time Café

We also have 3 spots left for ADR's that we haven't decided on (paying OOP for 2 breakfasts and BD fantasmic package) -- so there is some room for other suggestions.

What have YOUR experiences been?

Thanks!
Robin

I would choose a character meal. Is DS a bigger pooh , Mickey Mouse or Playhouse Disney fan. I think they would all try and give DS a little extra attention. Are you ordering a special cake? I ordered a small cake at LTT for DS birthday and they came over and sang. Characters spent a little more time too. Make sure to get the birthday button. SO many CM's wished DS a happy birthday. It was unbelieveable. He also got a few fast passes. Have a wonderful trip. Your ADR's look a lot like the ones I will be making for Dec.

This was an easy one to answer....Chef Mickey's. ;)

As an adult, I found the food to be okay but nothing super special...for a child on their birthday, they will be in heaven. The characters are always walking around and there is lots of singing and dancing. Our child was there the night of his birthday and he loved it!!! He still talks about it...they made it very special for him and it was super kid friendly. There is no other place I can think of that would be a better birthday spot for a 3 year old.

Promise!

We went when DD turned 3 and had breakfast at Crystal Palace. The waitstaff timed it perfectly and Pooh arrived at our table just as the waiter came with a cupcake and birthday card. It was excellent. We had dinner at WCC and had ordered a cake. The waitress had all the little boys age 10 and under come up and sing Happy Birthday to her.

She also had a birthday button and everyone wished her a Happy Birthday. We got to jump the line at Snow White and ride with a CM who gave her a certificate for being brave on the ride.

This year we are having her breakfast in Norway, but we are keeping WCC.
