So, Today was our 3rd and final day at Magic Kingdom. Since we had already been twice and since I had already taken so many pictures, I decided that I was not going to be taking many pictures today. I was going to enjoy every ride without having to watch it through a camera. I had taken a lot of video footage on our previous days because my kids like to watch the videos of the rides. I am just letting you know that I will probably fit all of today into one update.
The only set in stone plan that we had this day was Chef Mickey's at 11:15. My kids, being the early risers that they are, were ready to go to Magic Kingdom at 7:00. We didn't leave that early, but we did get there for rope drop again! Since we were there at rope drop, and since the Tour Guide Mike plan of attack worked so well for us the last time, we decided that we would follow that plan again this morning so we would get a lot done before our brunch reservation at Chef Mickey's. Once again there were a few crazy people jumping the ropes to get to Dumbo, but not too many. We waited and waited and waited. I looked at my clock and it said 9:15. Somebody must have been late this morning because they still hadn't dropped the ropes to Fantasyland. Just so you know, there are multiple areas you can wait for rope drop because of the different paths to get to all the lands. I was relieved to know that they don't drop any of the ropes until they are all ready. So somewhere at some rope they were waiting on a CM to come to rope drop still. At least they waited this morning to do it all at once, I may be just assuming that they do that every morning. As I am sitting there wondering if the rope jumpers have already had their spin on Dumbo, the rope drops and we were on our way. We did pretty much the same thing we did the previous Magic Kingdom day. Dumbo, Pooh bear, Peter Pan, Snow White, Cinderella's Carousel, Small World, Goofy's barnstormer, and this time we went to the Mad tea party. We still hadn't done that yet this trip.
I am going to back track just a minute because I did take some pictures at the carousel. I know you have already seen so many, but there is a reason I have to post these. You see, we were in the very front of the line so I knew we would have our pick of the horses. For those of you who didn't know, one of the horses is Cinderella's very own horse. It is a white one with a golden ribbon on its tail. I saw it go by and waited to go in, and then we made it to that horse. I put my very own Princess on Cinderella's horse. I felt kind of bad, because there might have been an older child who might have appreciated it a little more, but then I talked myself past the guilt. I mean, what are the chances that other kids on this ride knew about Cinderella's horse? A lot of people don't know about it. The only reason I did is because I have read a lot on the DIS. I immediately felt better, and took a few pictures.
Here is the Princess on Cinderella's horse. Notice the gold ribbon on the tail.
and here is a close up in case you couldn't see it very well.
I guess I was the one who took the boys on Goofy's Barnstormer this time because there are actually pictures of the kids on the ride.
Goofy(DS7) and
Lego(DS6) got to sit in the very front of the plane. They were so excited about this.
and this little Donald(DS4) sat with me.
The kids on the way up the hill. Oh the suspense.
While we were thus enjoying the thriller roller coaster that Goofy set up, my DH was doing what he does best. Getting a snack. This time they had popcorn, at like 10:00 in the morning.
Yummy!
After we got off the ride, the kids had to all do their "not fair" thing about Princess(DD2) getting popcorn. She happily shared it with them and we were on our way to the teacups. Now, it is impossible to get DH to enjoy this ride with the kids. He absolutely refuses, so to appease the kids I take my vomit bag in hand and get in line with them. Actually, just thinking about this ride is making me feel really queasy right now. I know right now that I would not even attempt this ride with morning sickness. Let me just get on to the pics so I can get past this portion of my TR.
Luckily my kids aren't super strong, so they can't get this thing spinning like I have seen other people spin it. But, they do spin it fast enough that it is uncomfortable for me. I am just sure my sweet DH was chuckling away when he took these pictures.
This was before the storm of nausea. I just love Donald's(DS4) face in this one. Princess(DD2) has no idea what is about to happen
Goofy(DS7) preparing for the spin.
Sickness setting in. I had to keep my eyes closed. I am sure Goofy(DS7) was enjoying this very much. Oh the things we will do for our children. Princess(DD2) looks like she felt like I did, and Lego(DS6) could care less.
I feel right now like I did when I got off of that ride.
It was now getting close to 10:30 so we decided we would go and get some FP's for BTMR and Splash and then head over to Chef Mickey's. We got on the monorail and made it to Chef Mickey's shortly after 11:00.
We were seated and my kids were super excited because we were having breakfast food. My kids could live on bacon. It is by far their favorite food. Who doesn't love bacon? Everything is better with bacon. Here are our plates of food.
Here was Goofy's(DS7) first plate.
and this was Goofy's second plate
Here was Lego's(DS6) first plate. At least he started off with a nice variety.
and this was Lego's second plate
some pics of the boys while eating the mounds of bacon.
and this was my plate. I can't remember what every thing was, but I do know that I LOVED that breakfast pizza at the bottom center of the plate.
Lego(DS6) was celebrating his birthday again on this day, so they started singing some Party song. Everyone spins their napkins in the air, and Mickey and Minnie come over and give birthday boy a hug.
He loved this attention. Mickey came over as well to say Hi.
Goofy
Minnie and the gang.
and I guess I didn't get a group photo with Donald. Just this one.
