Hello all! So I am going to be leaving for Disney in just 3 days with my family. I am so excited I can barely stand it. I am going to be celebrating my 21st birthday there :cool1: What are some fun ways I can celebrate it? Would Disney do anything special since it's my 21st?

:bday:

Disney will do the same thing for a 21st they do for all other birthdays, you can get a button at guest services to show your celebration and you may get many well wishes throughout the day or special recognition b/c it is your birthday. Occasionally other magical things happen like getting a cupcake with dinner or special dessert but not much beyond that. Make sure your birthday is noted at any reservations as your reason for celebration and the wait staff may bring out one of these magical suprises.

Of course, you've never consumed alcohol underage :cool2: so you won't have any tolerance built up , but if it were me, I'd be drinking at least halfway around the world at Epcot :cool1:

Drink up :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

I spent my 21st at Disney too but that was a ... omg ... 17 years ago - yikes. Anyway, I went to Pleasure Island that night but I would highly suggest a trip to Jellyrolls!! In any event, just the fact that you get to spend that milestone birthday in the World will be special enough ;) If you get any extra attention or stuff, that's a nice bonus.

Drink around the world. Enjoy a few cocktails. I usually start with a beer from Canada and wine from France and then wine from Italy.

If you stop certain cast members, and tell them they sometimes can make a call and you get a call from mickey.

For my 21st, we went to Epcot (duh) and went to Cava Del Tequila (I dooooo love tequila). They sang in Spanish and played a tambourine and it was just a fun time. I had a button as well, which is always a treat. Otherwise, nothing but wellwishes :)

We went to jellyrolls that evening and one of my friends put on a napkin that it was my birthday. I got to go onstage and everyone sang to me.

I'm 21, I celebrated my birthday in April at WDW. I personally didnt like Jellyrolls. I found it to be full of the older crowd. But drinking around Epcot is a fun thing to do.

Since you're going to be there smack dab in the middle of Food and Wine it's the perfect time to celebrate. Many of the snack carts around Epcot have the drinks that are popular in each country.

Some of my favorites are Welsh Dragon at UK, Grey Goose Slushie in France, and the Blue Glowtini (But that was at Brown Derby) and not sure if they still have it at Food and Wine but there is a Strawberry Balsamic Martini. It was amazing.

If you don't like drinking, or dont want to spend the money on it. When you check in, ask for a Birthday Button. Sometimes waitstaff will give you free things such as Cupcakes and cookies with meals.

Thanks Everyone! I think I am going to defiantly check out jelly rolls and the food and wine festival! Can't wait:banana:

Drink around the world, then ride Mission Space Orange. Recipe for an unforgettable birthday!

not sure if their still doing it at the moment but make sure you hit the celebrate you parade if its your birthday!! have fun

i celebreated my 21st their.. i cudnt celebrate drinking because im english and we drink at 18 haha so my tolerance was pretty good but make sure you get a good drink around the world. Oktoberfest is by far the best beer to get you started on (more of a dark ale, proper european style) haha.

have a great time make sure you wear your button and you will get lots of attention, its a big day enjoy yourself and most of all.. have a beautiful magical day :)

go directly to the 'magic slushie machine' outside Morocco in Epcot!!!!!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Drink Around The World - OR...

The Monorail Crawl (which is a little less overwhelming) - stop and have a drink at a bar in the lounge at each of the resorts on the Monorail loop (Mizner's @ Grand Floridian, Outer Rim Lounge @ Contemporary, and Tambu Lounge @ Polynesian).

OR...

Just go straight to the Tambu Lounge @ the Polynesian - this one is my favorite and has really great signature drinks. You gotta get a Lapu Lapu - dark rum and tropical fruit juices served in a fresh pineapple topped with Bacardi 151 rum! They also have an awesome pina colada!
