I have an ethical question about celebrating my daughter's birthday. We are going to WDW in January and are considering celebrating her 8th birthday. The only problem is that her actual birthday is in July. We have always wanted to go to the World in July for her birthday but are unable due to my husbands job. We have gone at other times and celebrated our anniversary and my husbands birthday, but my daughter has never been able to celebrate anything. Do you think it is inappropriate to celebrate her birthday in January? We obviously won't get a free park day for her but that's not a big deal. What do you think? :confused3

I think it is a great idea!! Lots of people celebrate their half birthdays. I am going to start doing that this year because one of my kids has a birthday on Dec. 26. It is hard to give him a special day just for him.

I think the 1/2 birthday is a good idea. You can celebrate whatever you wish. If you aren't trying to get a free ticket then I don't think there is any issue.
