I believe it is possible to celebrate an anniversary on the ship but how do you arrange this? Do I do it through my travel agent? Also, hair braiding reservation, can they be pre-reserved through the TA also?:wave2:

My DW and I are celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary when we sail in October 2005. All I did was tell DCL when I made the ressie that I wanted to celebrate our special day on Formal Night at dinner, the CM said that would be no problem at all.

I made the same comment to DCL when I made my cruise ressie. :rotfl: I have since that time called back and they acknoledged the information for our 25th anniversary date.

FYI - They will bring you a cake at dinner. Ours was this weird strawberry spongecake-mousse cake with a layer of pink gelatinous frosting. On the top was a picture of the ship and "Happy Anniversary" decorated on white chocolate.

The waiter actually forgot the cake on our actual anniversary, but remembered the following night. I hadn't said anything because it wasn't that big of a deal. The cake was disappointing, but honestly I wasn't expecting that much. I think if I were in the same situation on another cruise, I'd just book Palo ressies for that night.

You can also pre-order gift baskets and other Disney paraphernalia, as well as room decorations.

With great luck we had dzneprincess and her husband as ourtable mates. They were celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary and we were on our honeymoon. Our wonderful servers knew this, how I don't know, and asked if it were ok to sing and bring out cake. It was really cute and a great way to start off the trip.

We celebrated our 7th anniversary on the Magic two years ago. We booked a res for Palo, and they brought out a sumptious chocolate cake, in addition to the three desserts we ordered. (I was 5 months pregnant and very hungry!) It was a great way to celebrate, and I'm glad we did Palo instead of our regular dinner rotation that night.

I also noticed that there are packages that can be purchased for $30--they decorate your door, hang banners, and more. I found that on the disneycruise.com website.

My wife and I were sharing a table with a bunch of honeymooners, so our cake said "Happy Honeymoon!". It was really our 9th anniversary; it just felt like our honeymoon. :teeth:
