We will be in DW in Dec. to celebrate our grandson's first birthday and would like suggestion on how to make it special. We will be stay inside DW .

If your staying at/near the Boardwalk, you can always go to the bakery there and order a birthday cake.
If you to go the restaurants board they have a thread with pictures of cakes and such.

Have a great trip!!

We had DS's 1st birthday at Crystal Palace and ordered a cake to be delivered there. It was nice and fun without too much stress. There were 13 of us total and we were at 2 tables.

We celebrated DS's 1st birthday in WDW and went to the Magic Kingdom in the morning for his first haircut at the Main Street Barber Shop. For dinner, we ate at Chef Mickey's and had a cake ordered (which was wonderful:goodvibes) and opened some presents at the table. There were 10 of us total at the dinner and the characters spent alot of time interacting with him. Happy Planning!:)

We celebrated our daughter's first B-Day at Crystal Palace and had a great time. They brought out a cupcake and Pooh sang Happy Birthday to her. If your son is a Mickey fan, eat at Cafe Mickey. Let them know you are celebrating a birthday. Also make when you get to the first park, go to customer service desk and ask for a birthday pin. I put it on the stroller and every CM who passed us wished her happy birthday. We were in line for Peter Pan and the CM told us to move to the front of the line because of her birthday. You never know what will happen.
