Cedar Point Pics

Cool TR. The only thing is that I think you somehow turned Disastor Transport and Demon Drop. DD is a freefall tower and DT is a bobsled coaster. At the Six Flags by me we used to have a Demon Drop type ride (Stuntman's Freefall which was the first of it's kind) but it got removed last year. I would love to go to Cedar Point but I'm the only one in my family who likes rides the way I do so I don't think we'll go there anytime soon.

Only other stinker of a ride was the one we waited the longest for, over an hour; Disaster Transport. Supposed to be a 3-D indoor roller coaster. As you enter you can buy disposable 3-D glasses for a buck; decided to pass; glad we did. The 3-D effects were no more than glow-in-the-dark paint thrown on the walls in the waiting area. As for the ride itself, believe they were going for a Space Mt. theme? Your car goes up a traditional coaster lift, then at the top you start to roll (yes, the car had wheels) in a free-fall down a metal tube.

I hated Disastor Transport-such a waste of time! didn't do the Demon Drop...i'm thinking they had this type of ride @ Geauga Lake last time we visited couple years ago...Mister Hyde???

I couldn't believe the DT rolled along in the tube so, after riding, I asked the CM outside & she indicated that it worked on a traditional coaster lift system up the 1st hill, then you descend "freestyle/no track" in the tube. IMO, Would've been better if it had gone faster.

thanks for reading thru the report!
