Day 2 can be found here.

Wednesday, July 30th, was our third and final day in Orlando. We had planned to either visit the marketplace or resort hop, but decided to go ahead and use another day on the Disney tickets, even though we wouldn't have a full day. We headed back to Epcot, since we hadn't had time to do much the night before. DS said she wanted to be sure to do Journey into Imagination (she hadn't seen it since Figment's return, and I had never seen it, as it wasn't wheelchair accessible before) and Ellen's Energy Adventure, and I wanted to see the Living Seas (I'm an ocean stuff nut ... :) ). The first stop was Guest Relations, so we could replace Katelyn's lost birthday button. They were different here! Oh, well, she was at Epcot on her birthday, too. Then, we walked through Ice Station Cool, and I tried the watermelon. Yummy! Next, we rode JII, and it was great. I am Figment's newest fan! :)

DM now wanted to visit the World Showcase, so DS and I went to the Living Seas. My favorite part was the manatee exhibit. They're so ugly, they're cute! :D I could sit for hours staring at the dolphins, too.

Next, we tried to find EEA, but were unsuccessful. We didn't have maps, and, as many times as we have been there, could not remember where it was! We could have asked, or gotten a map, but instead we went into Innoventions and played for a while. Then we headed for WS to meet DM for lunch.

We met DM in Mexico at the Cantina de San Angel. We had a great wet burrito, and DS and I put guacamole on our portion. Yum! (DM just doesn't know what's good! j/k)

Katelyn and I decided to take a stroll around the lagoon before leaving. DM said she would run back to MK to see if she could replace Katelyn's original pin, then meet us back at ASMu to get our car to head home. DS wanted some rice candy she'd bought before in Japan, so we headed that direction. We took our time through the Showcase, stopping to listen to some musicians in Morocco, and to make some music of our own at a little stand in Africa that sold hand-made instruments. We then began to make our way back through Future World toward the buses.

As we walked back through FW, the funniest moment of the trip occurred. A storm was brewing, and it was getting pretty windy. I even had to take off my Minnie ears (yes, for the first time ever, I decided I didn't care if people thought I was five years old—that's about how tall I am—and wore the ears ... maybe because it was my first trip since I've been married ... maybe I was always subconsciously hoping to meet the man of my dreams before, and didn't want him to mistake me for a toddler? Who knows? ;) ), for fear they would blow away. We started to walk just to the right of the large fountain in the center of FW. Just then, they started the music, and it started the show where giant gushers of water shoot up in time with the music. We continued walking, enjoying the mist the wind was creating, when WHAM!!!! ... one of those gushers slammed down right on our heads! :earseek: We screamed and started running, but it happened TWICE MORE before we could get away. After we got out of the line of fire, I had to stop for five minutes, I was laughing so hard! We were soaked ... dripping. Have you seen the commercials for Sierra Mist soft drink, where it's really hot, and the guy's dog kicks the fire hydrant, and it opens and shoots the guy 30 feet in the air, then the announcer says, "Yeah, it's kinda like that?" Well, when we finally stopped laughing, Katelyn looked at me and said, "Yeah, it's kinda like that," which of course started us laughing all over again.

We finally took our drippy selves back to the Intermission Food Court at ASMu, where we bought some fries and Apple Jacks (bit of a weird combination, now that I think about it ... hehe), while we waited for DM. Finally, she arrived, and we headed back to my DH in SC.

Well, that's it! Perhaps CDoobee or CDoobeeJr. will fill in details I missed, and things they did without me. :)
