I apologize if this has been asked before, but I wanted to find out if any of the "westcoast" Canadians have recieve PIN codes for WDW.

We have travelled to WDW over 15 times now but all I ever receive are PIN codes for DL (we have only visitied DL once in the last 15 years).

Are there any other westcoasters that have ever received a PIN code for WDW or does Disney just assume we are closer to California so they only offer the DL ones?

Yes, we are from BC and received 2 PIN codes last fall. Fortunately we were able to use one as we had a trip planned this past March.

Would love to get one for DL as we plan on going there next March.

Like you, we have been several times to DL, but this was also our second trip to WDW.

Thanks so much DisCanadian. We are from BC as well and it's good to know that we may have a chance of receiving a PIN for WDW eventually.

Too bad we couldn't trade, I get them all the time for DL but we don't use them because we're always heading for Florida.

Good luck with your DL PIN's :wizard:

Going OT... it's criminal what the airlines charge for travel from Vancouver to Orlando these days

Have you called and asked?

I find I never receive the e-mails, but I always have a pin (or 2 or 3). I actually have 2 room discounts, and free QSDP right now.

Yes, I've called and asked on 2 occassions (once last year and once this year) and I've done it in the most polite way possible and I guess I must just hit on the agents who are having a bad day because the first time the agent said "Who told you such a thing?" in a very abrupt tone and the second time the agent said "no" before I even finished getting the sentence out of my mouth and then told me if I had a discount it would have been emailed to me.

Makes me a little gun-shy because I feel like I'm annoying them when I call and I don't like doing things like that. I would rather just pay full price and avoid the attitude.

Not a Westcoaster, but Canadian...yes both DH and I have recieved WDW and DL pins to our email accounts and regular mail. We have also called and asked if we had one attached to our names, and never had. One time the CM was not too sure what we were asking for, the other times, they just said no, but to keep checking back. HTH!

Wow... that sucks that you would get such a cold response.

I call often (in search of free dining), and almost always get someone who's willing to check. I even have had them check, and they say they don't see a PIN, and I tell them "My name / address is registered more then once, can you keep looking", and they will almost always find something.

Thanks, I'll definitely give that a try. Most of the CM's are generally really great to work with, and perhaps I just hit on people who were having a bad day at the time, but it sure makes you feel about 2 inches tall when they treat you like that.

Noice to know that the possibilities are there though :thumbsup2
