CDN Dollar

I was told by a friend that works in the financial industry to start buying American money now if you can due to the recent developments with the arrests etc of teh supposed terrorists our Dollar is set to take a nose dive it is allready down 2 cents in the last day and a half from what I can see and it will likeley fall further in the coming weeks.

I believe it has more to do with comments made by Federal Reserve chairman Bernanke's comments about inflation (i.e. it's higher than they're comfortable with). This of course translates into higher rates which raises their dollar - it's up against most currencies in the last couple of days.

Depends on who you talk to. There will likely be a downturn for a bit before it goes back up. Our economy is strong and continuing to rise. US not so much. So many factors can effect currency. I wouldn't stockpile US money unless you are planning to go soon.

I bought friday at $100USD= $114.40.CAD

And the American money is now COLORED!!!

The twenties are green, and the tens are yellow!!! (I don't know the other colors, didn't get any others)

They are getting smart like Canada!!

Now I won't accidently tip the bus driver a twenty because the money all looks the same!
