It seems we are flying in Air France/Cityjet to Terminal 2F. From the VEA shuttle timetable, we are last to be picked up!!

Also I cannot make head nor tail of the directions for the shuttle busstop in T2F at CDG. can anyone explain please where in 2F it is?

ALso, IF the TGV only takes 10 mins, would I be better getting this? Is it near terminal 2F? It seems to be judging from an old web map i have but no scale on it so could be miles away.

does anyone know what the cost of TGV is as I've heard its expensive

Here is a map of Terminal 2F :) The VEA goes from the area marked La galerie and where it's marked 5. Looking at the instructions on the VEA website, I'm assuming that La galerie itself is actually the "exit 0.09" bit.

For the TGV station - looking at the map the station would be on the left hand side of the terminals, if it was marked! Despite the very quick journey, I don't usually recommend the TGV, as it can be quite a faff to get round CDG airport to get the station!! But in you case, you couldn't be much handier, and can just walk there. But you're also in a good place for the VEA - last to leave the airport and first to arrive on the way back. :)

We found it is an easy indoor walk (with free luggage trolleys) from Terminal 2F to the train station. The TGV takes 10 minutes and arrives at the station at the main entrance to DLP. The hotel busses pickup right next to the train station.

The first time we went, the VEA never turned up at all. No notice to indicate why, nobody around to ask - the whole thing was a nightmare, especially with my 6 year old throwing up in the queue for a bus that never came! Anyway we got the TGV instead and it was very quick and not particularly expensive.
The following year the VEA was running but the queue was so long and disorganised we decided to get the TGV anyway. We must have just missed one because we had a long cold wait for the next, although the journey itself was as quick as before.
Last year we were determined to get the VEA, but the bus stop is not marked and queuing is non-existant. There were more people than spaces on the bus and I'm not sure the people who had been waiting the longest were the ones who got the seats.
Sorry if it sounds negative - the return journey to CDG on the VEA has always gone smoothly, but this year we're going direct by Eurostar.
