CD writing for digital pics?

I believe I've read that Shutter's offers this service. Can anyone tell me how much it costs? I'm new to the digital world and trying to decide if I should plan on doing that or buying another memory card before we leave. Thanks!

I can answer your question becasue we ended up using this service on our cruise last week. We had a new camera and inadvertently used up the memory card on the first day! It was $15 to download the pictures to a disk. It only took a couple of hours, and they took care of everything. After that, DH changed some settings on the camera and we could get more pictures on our card.

I'm not sure how much a memory card would cost for your camera, but my advice is to buy an extra. We missed out on a couple of great photo opportunities between the time the card filled up and we got the card back from Shutters.
