Hi

For those who had their wedding photos taken by Disney photographers and bought the high-resolution CD from Disney, i want to ask you a few questions about the quality of the high-resolution CD.

Question 1. How large did you try to enlarge your photos from the high-res CD ? 16"x 20" or even bigger size ? IF yes, did the photo turn out well?

Question 2. If you actually ordered enlargement directly from Disney photography yourself, did you ever try to order enlargement as big as 16" x20" (or bigger) canva? Let me know the cost for the enlargement and more importantly ,were you satisfied with the photo quality?

Thanks
Terence

Good question....I'd like to know as well...
also if anyone knows what quality is the regular CD? :scratchin

The low res cd is only good for viewing pictures on your computer and a 3x5 print. You might be able to get a 4x6 out of it, but Disney told me not to count on it.

The high res cd is enough that you would easily be able to print a 16"x20" photo from it, and probably larger. I haven't bought the high res cd from Disney yet - at $1000 dollars that seemed like robbery to me for the 50 photos they took at our MK shoot. I am waiting for the three year mark so I can get it for $100, which also seems steep, but is much easier for me to stomach. I already have prints of the shoot, but I would like it for archiving :)

we got the high res cd and the photos range from 0.8mb (for not much detail) to 5.5mb for the really detailled photos
hope that helps

does anyone know if you can have more than 1 photo package put onto the same CD? For instance if you have the Disney photographer for the wedding and also the MK portrait and / or honeymoon portraits, could you buy 1 CD with them all on? If so, it would work out much better value, altho' not exactly a 'bargain' at least you could probably justify the $1,000.

I don't know if this has been posted, but when I went for a site visit in June, I was told that they've just made it so you can opt for the high-res CD instead of the photo album in a photo package. I know it wouldn't be to everyone's liking but I'm planning on doing this because I enjoy making my own scrapbooks and photo albums so I don't particularly want theirs. I'd rather have the CD to make my own prints. :)

We got the high res. cd and soon after ordered a 24 X 36 enlargement from Sam's Club...only cost I believe $20...they printed it out on quality photo paper and it looks fantastic!!!!! We could not be happier and saved a bunch of money buying it through them, we just uploaded the picture to their website and the order was sent. Granted you have to be a member of Sam's, but the 2nd point is that the enlargement looks great! :thumbsup2

just bumping to see if anyone knows if this is possible.
I'm trying to choose whether to take the photography package included in the Intimate package or go with an outside vendor and this would be an important factor for me. Thanks!
