CD player in hire car???

We have booked with TCD and i wondered if anyone who has been recently had a cd player in their hire car.My reason for asking is that i though it would be great to make a compilation of our favourite happy songs that would then forever remind us of florida.

We book with Dollar, it depends on the size or grade of your car I think.
The economy vehicles may not have one but if you upgrade to a nicer and bigger vehicle I would have thought you would be ok.

We had one last year, in a Dollar car
It was an upgrade - probably an Intermediate - and we had to listen to DD's, non stop, Kim Possible bought from DTD for almost 3 weeks !!
Get that compilation CD made, just in case

We get our car through Dollar and both times have had a cd player but both times we have upgraded

We were upgraded to a Premium car last year and that had a CD.

Unfortunately only DS had taken any CDs

in alamo they only guarantee cd players in the more expensive cars (i think full size and up), but when my daughter and I were at WDW alone in august we took an intermediate car and it had a CD player as well......

Yes, you are unlikely to get a CD player in the smaller cars.

I suspect that all of their cars have CD players these days, but they only promise that you'll get one in their larger cars....

We had a 4 door compact from Dollar last September and that had a CD player.

We've had CD players in all our Dollar cars.

One word of advice, Scott made compilations one year and we found that the CD player would only take shop-bought CD's and refused the home burned ones. Take some shop bought's too just in case.
