CCV vs BRV?

Right now we have a 1 bedroom booked at Boulder Ridge Villas for thanksgiving week, right now it's one night less than I would ideally like, but I am ok with that, will waitlist the last night and book somewhere else as needed. Trying to decide if we try to switch to a Copper Creek one bedroom tomorrow morning or not. I have a feeling if we don't try for it now it will be years before we can get in which has been my experience with the Poly. Haven't been able to get a room there since they opened. What would you do? Be happy with BRV or try to switch? FWIW we won't be doing any Disney parks this trip, we have Universal APs so we will probably spend 2 days over there, then the rest of the time at the resort and checking out the monorail resorts Christmas decorations. The trip will either be anywhere from 3 nights/4 days to 5 nights/5 days depending on airfare. Won't be able to book that for another few weeks but luckily I have enough extra points this year to be able to book extra nights and drop as needed.

Since you need to waitlist for one night at BRV, I'd try for CCV. Looks like no harm done if you don't get it.
