HI all...just wondering.....upon printing out the information on CC from the website I see all items are an extra charge, bikes, snorkeling etc. Do they supply towels? Can we bring our own snorkle gear? Do you eat breakfast before disembarking to the island? Lunch on island? Dinner on boat? Oh my.....I think this cruising is going to take more planning than WDW does...lol.

There is a charge for the bikes, snorkeling... etc. They do supply towels for no charge. We usually have breakfast on board (we get up early) because docking isn't until around 7:30 or so. Lunch is provided on board or on CC for no charge. We leave CC around 4:30 so dinner is in our regular restaurant.

Sure bring your own gear..

Have breakfast on the Ship and Lunch on the island at Cookies BBQ...

and the ship leaves the island at 5 pm so you will have dinner on the ship....

just read the website I gave you and the Dis you will be a pro in no time..

he he he...Don't worry. It's not NEARLY as hectic as it souds... :earseek:

You will eat breakfast on the ship, then lunch can be on the island or on the ship, it's up to you. And dinner is your regular rotation restaurant. It all kinda just falls into place. :goodvibes

They have towels available on Castaway Cay morning.
As for snorkeling, we brought our own, and we had a great time. The only thing is, they require the yellow self-inflating vests, and if you don't have one, you'll have to borrow one. But they'll give you one to borrow for free. Just stop by the rental hut and ask. :)

So just relax, have a great time, and don't worry about the little details...they seem to just "take care of themselves"! :teeth:

I was really getting worried about all the little details and it was keeping me from actually paying that deposit.....know to talk the hubby into it.

Saw your "I love little league" banner at the bottom

Trust me, everything on the ship is LESS complicated than Little League .

I was a President of a league in 2004, trust me. :cheer2:

We paid $12 for rental of two floats (big blue ones). We didn't get the bikes or the snorkel gear. When we tried to snorkel with our own (mask & breathing tube) we were told we could not, that we had to rent them. That was straight from the Lifeguards mouth.
Also, when we were lounging on the floats (face down in the water) inching up closer to the rope which separates the snorkeling lagoon from the bathing lagoon, we were told to move away from the rope. We moved back a couple of feet and the lifeguard told us, farther, so we did, but my husband was embarrassed so we just gave up altogether.
The only thing, besides the floats, that we paid for on the island was the wonderful drinks (Tropical Depression and Strawberry Daquiri's) and the souveniers, but unless you're purchasing stamps for the postcards, leave your cash on board. I brought a few dollars with me for the stamps. We mailed out postcards to our family and one to ourselves and it took a while, but it's still up on my fridge.

Everyone in our large group agreed, it was well worth the money and we're waiting for the 2007 schedule to come out so we can book another one, but this time a 7 night cruise on the Magic!
Have Fun :goodvibes

We brought our own snorkeling gear - never heard we couldn't use it. When I saw the way the rented snorkles are "cleaned" that was it for me. I have brought my own ever since. We used them on almost all of our excursions not just CC. We enjoyed CC - just went down by the beach and got some good chairs and enjoyed the day. The Bar B Q is delicious. You don't need to spend anything, but of course there is plenty to choose from should you want to spend money!
