I was looking at the cabanas that have already been booked for our March cruise. I noticed that it didn't list cabanas with the numbers 1, 13, 16, or 17. I also noticed that there are still concierge cabins available for the cruise including the Roy suite(would only be $45k for my family of 3, lol). Makes me wonder if they hold some cabanas back in case these cabins get booked, or if they aren't listed because they are doing repair work? Just curious. Anyone know?

I think #1 is the accessible cabana, so it might not show if you are looking at regular availability.

Correct.

There is no #13. Superstition I guess?

#16 is held back—used for either late concierge bookings or wedding parties.

Don’t know about #17 but seems fair to assume maybe it was added to #16 as held back.

1 is never available to book since it is accessible. 16 and 17 are made available by the onboard team for Concierge guests who forgot/neglected to request one on day 125. They are made available to the waiting list if no Concierge guest request them.

Thanks

I thought maybe there was no 13 because of superstition, bit didn't know about the others. Figured someone on here would know. The 1 bed between the Walt and Roy is also available, actually there's a lot of concierge cabins available, so makes sense for 16 and 17 to be held back.

They are always held back. It is not based on occupancy. They used to only keep 16 in their pocket but they added 17 around the time the hurricane went over the island a few years ago. The cabanas at the end of the beach were closed for a few weeks, and 17 never came back as available for pre-cruise booking.

About a week before our 12/13-12/17 Dream cruise a number of cabanas were released! I want to say it was 3-4 of them but can’t remember for sure. I got super lucky and snagged one, one of the best experiences from our trip!
