My Disney CC expires this month. For some reason I *thought* they usually just sent me a new one but when I called they said I needed to reapply:confused3 Is that normal??? I could have sworn when it expired last time I know I didn't reapply and I was able to get a new card with a different picture.
Anyway, I called them today and basically they are not renewing my acct, they did not send a letter, and I owe a balance. I guess the balance will be paid off this month but I just lost all my rewards:mad:

:sad2: This happened with our Borders Mastercard. Never got a letter or anything, but when I called, they said we needed to reapply. Um, okay. :confused3 So I did it with her over the phone and she told me we had been turned down! My husband got this card when he was in college (he's almost 34) and it's always been paid off. Guess they only want someone who will keep a huge balance on it.

DH couldn't believe it, so he reapplied online and we got approved. FOR A HIGHER line of credit. Guess the card companies don't understand their new rules either! :rotfl:

My Disney cc expired in March but I was automatically sent a new one around January.

Sometimes I don't think the people that work for them even know what's going on.

What???? I've never had to reapply for my Disney Visa...great, something to "look forward" to when it's time for my new card. :(

I really think the guy on the phone was clueless but not willing to let me talk to anyone else.

i've always had a new one sent to me automatically

Good because he made it sound like I had no idea what I was talking about when I told him they had just sent me a new one the last time it expired.

Yep. Always something to look forward too:scared: Ugh when will this **** stop. Thankfully I will pay it off next month but what if the circumstances were different?

Sounds like you talked to a real winner !!!

Call back and talk to someone else.

It's 7 pm here but I will call tomorrow morning and try to talk to someone else. Not holding my breathe that I will get a different answer though. This is probably chase's way of getting rid of people. I carried a balance so they were making money off of me. I'm just so mad I lost my rewards.

Hmm. I will have to watch for that. Guess if I don't get a replacement a couple of months in advance I will be on the phone to them! Don't want to lose my points!

The card is still open right now, right? Call and have your rewards moved to a Rewards card right away. Then at least you'll have the ones you've earned already. Then spend them on something in the Disney online store......

Our Disney Visa just expired in April, and they sent us a new one the second or third week in March. Our old expiration date was 4/2010 and the new one is 4/2013. I have no idea why they would make you reapply, but if they insist on it I'd definitely do one of the deals where you get a $200 rewards card for it!! ;)

I think as of sunday it is closed. So if the card is closed I don't think they are going to send me a rewards card but I am trying to order one now.

See mine expired 4/2010 and I never heard from them so that's why I called.

Here's hoping you have beter luck than me.:wizard:

:scared1:WOW that sucks!!:scared1: Guess I will have to wait and see what they do to us when ours expires in December.
