CC 5k- as a table

we were just on the Magic 6 night repositioning that started in San Juan. Our table mates were great and during the week we talked about the 5k and who has done it. My DW is not a walker or runner and would never even think about a 5k let alone a Disney 5k on vacation. But positive peer pressure is funny because the night before the 5 k she says yes. So table 29 on the Magic all sign up and gave a great pix of crossing the finish line. My wife "survived" and has a great memory and pix

Shout outs to terry, Diane, Scott, dawn, gary and Shari from table 29. They helped create another great DCL memory. There was some talk of a reunion cruise!!!!!

Other lines do well with putting people together. While we've never clicked quite that strongly, the closest we've come was on a Royal cruise. It's something cruiselines do; put people together for meals that often have things in common.

This is so awesome! One CC 5k I had the honor of running with an older gentleman. Retired navy officer. Met him on the walk to the start. His pace slower than my usual, but it was so nice to just run with him and chat the whole way. I will never forget that experience. Later in the cruise we caught up with him several times. Great memory!
